Accurate Optical
We have received emails from some of our viewers informing us that Accurate Optical was evicted from their building on Wednesday. When they drove by and all the contents was sitting outside. Accurate Optical is/was located on Winterplace Parkway

It was on TV last night, showed all the chairs sitting outside on the grass. That's what happens when you don't pay your rent.

Berlin made damn sure they are well on their way to go bankrupt... SBY will follow suite and then the rest of the dumb ass towns and cities around... They all do the same thing, one right after the other... When you see it in one town or city, it will come to yours... It is funny how you moronic dumb-asses think you will never be affected by any of this... Berlin thought the same damn thing, now look, they get a 30% land tax increase ALONG with water and sewer fee increases, and that is all I know, I am sure other fees and taxes were raised too... How do you all love your taxes now???? Still want more??? Still want higher ones???? Still can make your house and bill payments??? Not in the next few years you won't... but your to stupid to see it, so I guess it will take that notice on yuor door for you to understand what a first grader can understand... But oh well, you all get what you deserve, and you deserve nothing since you let and allow this shit to happen to you... Ask yourself when that notice is on the door to get the hell out of your own house, can this really happen to you... When I see you walking the streets begging for change, I am just going to laugh in your face and ask how are all those taxes that you said didn't affect you???

ReplyDeleteDishonest business! Business has been failing for years. Negative reviews all over the internet including BBB. Cheating patients by taking their money and not delivering glasses. No recourse once payment is made. This is most likely not their first eviction or last. Companies are given notice when eviction will occur. Why were they not prepared to take their chairs and equipment somewhere safe and protected from the elements avoiding a “public spectacle”? Poor preparation by a business that has been managed into the ground!
ReplyDeleteI have been going to Accurate Optical since the 60's when I lived in Salisbury (sure glad I moved to Worcester County) It takes a lot to be able to evict someone but on my last several visits I noticed that there were not that many people in the waiting room. Probably because the price of new glasses is over the top. The last pair I got last year were over a $1,000.00, true the were the progressive with tint but still a lot of money. It appears that Azar owns their buildings and they were not paying their rent and if it was over a disagreement over an increase it would not be the reason for an eviction.

People waiting forever to get glasses only to find out they were never ordered from the manufacture. Customers getting the run around when calling. Down right rude and not even attempting or even pretending to be helpful employees.
ReplyDeleteAO "offical" claims they have a court order to reverse decision and hope to move back in today. What a crock. Look them up on case search. Go to company and put in Accurate Optical and narrow down to Wic Co. For more insight click to search liens. They owe a ton of money. Just about 1/2 mil to bank of delmarva and more then that to the feds and some to the state of MD. They are done history. Stop lying to the public!

Accurate Optical owes more than a year of back rent for their Salisbury office. They were evicted from the Ocean Pines building 2 weeks ago by the Worcester county sheriff....again because of being 12 months behind in their rent. It just did not make the tv news. They were evicted from the building in Millsboro a month ago...again a year behind in rent. Accurate Optical also is being sued by multiple suppliers of lenses, frames, contacts, other optical supplies, and even the optical equipment used for eye exams due to a lack of payment that dates back more than 2 years. Wake up Accurate Optical....this is what really happens when you are behind in payments and rent....you get evicted and sued. Say goodbye to Accurate Optical and find a new optometrist. There are many honest and ethical and caring optometrists in Salisbury...even at Walmart.

ReplyDeleteThat goes for all their branches. Salisbury was the main branch. They is where all their stock was. They stocked frames there, the uncut lenses for glasses.....everything. So if Salisbury can't make the glasses the other stores aren't getting them.

look up stephen franklin, the coo. looks like they were also operating without proper licenses.
ReplyDeleteI gave up getting prescription glasses. They are way too expensive and scratch and break too easily. I can buy readers by the case. If you really need a prescription and many do I am not dissing them go through the baskets at thrift shops and find frames you like and get new lenses. The older frames are made better. They made it through some ones life and to the thrift. The new ones are just trash.
