Large Whale Stranded In Bay in OC

OC fire boat dispatched to assist the natural resources police for a very large whale caught in a net in the bay in the area of 12th Street

Update:
Due to weather they have pulled everyone off the water at this time.

Whale was freed from some of the net. There was still net remaining on the whale as crews were forced off the water.

    2. 8:31, I am sorry if my comment offended your "sensibilities" but if you think deeply about it (are you capable?), we are making terrible, irresponsible choices as a species. Check out "Plastic Ocean" and tell me I'm wrong

    1. Do we, 931? Please provide evidence. I wish you were right, but take a look at what's happening on Midway Island, where so many Americans died fighting the Japanese. Just a tiny example.

  8. Apparently this report is false, the men that were there helping say that the whale still has netting all around its face but everyone was forced to leave

  9. If the thing dies we are forbidden by federal law from butchering and eating it. It is such a waste...

  10. Oh, so Midway offsets all the good deeds and compassion, the medical advances, and so much more that need not be enumerated to the few who are mentally incapable of understanding it anyway. If Midway is such a problem, go on over there and help fix it.
