Charges dropped against woman accused of assaulting Kellyanne Conway at Bethesda eatery

ROCKVILLE, Md. (ABC7) — The Montgomery County State's Attorney's Office has dropped all charges against the woman accused of physically assaulting Kellyanne Conway at a Bethesda Mexican restaurant.

Mary Inabinett, 63, of the 3900 block of Underwood Street in Chevy Chase, Maryland, had been facing charges of second-degree assault and disorderly conduct stemming from the Oct. 14 incident at Uncle Julio's restaurant in downtown Bethesda.

In February, Conway — a close counselor to President Donald Trump — detailed the alleged attack during an exclusive interview with CNN. Conway explained she was at a birthday party with her daughter when Inabinett approached the table, grabbed her arms from behind and shook her while screaming "shame on you!" Conway described Inabinett as "out of control" and believed the exchange was politically motivated.

"She ought to pay for that because she has no right to touch anybody," Conway told CNN at the time. She put her hands on me. I said, 'Get your hands off of me!'"

  1. That's why Kelly should have throat punched her right there. Don't wait for justice, there is none.

  12. It’s clear the law does not apply to Democrats and the Government will not punish them. So if you are victimized by a Democrat, defend yourself.
