If There's One Vote I Want From Our Viewers It Would Be For Bob Culver, Wicomico County Executive

For well over a decade I have dedicated my time to deliver you news and information I feel is in the best interest of each and every one of you. The growth experienced here on SBYNews is just un-explainable, seriously. To bring forth a conservative view in an area loaded with democrats, how could we achieve 66,000,000+ hits? I believe it's because we have a ton of blue dogs, conservative democrats who are smart enough to look at all sides and make independent decisions.

I also believe the people 30 and older aren't angry people and are tired of the division your mainstream media is purposely trying to create.

Bob Culver has done an incredible job as your County Executive. He's used his business experience and wisdom to break away from the typical tax and spend agenda. He doesn't lie and he doesn't shy away from criticism.

Oh sure, he's ticked off some special interests, (Good Ol' Boys) by not giving them everything they wanted or demanded, hence the Heath signs on Gillis/Gilkerson properties and so forth. If their proposals were truly in the best interests of ALL taxpayers and not a very select few, he'd side with them. Because he said NO, they're the little children on the floor in the middle of the store kicking and screaming while the parent completely ignores the child.

Before you go to the polls tomorrow undecided, trust me, Bob Culver IS the one person you want to support. Don't listen to the lies about Bob being spread. Bob was elected and has done exactly what he said he would do. Anyone not voting for a man who has delivered exactly what he said he was going to do is a fool.

Heath has missed 18, (EIGHTEEN) council meetings in his very short term on the City Council. He has NEVER voted against ANYTHING Jake Day has brought forth to the Council, NOTHING.  He claims he's going to remove the revenue cap. What an Idiot, HE CAN'T! The man can't answer a single question when it comes to accomplishments or goals, outside of catch phrases very similar to the Jim Ireton era. The only reason the guy is running, (a puppet) is so Jake Day can take control of the County.

I can only hope Wicomico County residents continue to support Bob Culver. Not just because he has an (R) behind his name but because he's done a great job. Please make every effort to get out and vote tomorrow and NEVER think anyone is a shoe in. GET OUT AND VOTE!

  1. Excellent summary. Bob Culver is and outstanding guy and has done an great job. The other candidate is a puppet ready to rubber stamp everything Day wants. Culver received my vote last week. The County needs a leader not a follower.
4 more years - reelect Bob Culver.

  4. I am a conservative Democrat. Today I saw a FB post about Bob’s position on an issue I follow closely. I reached out and asked him for his side of the story. After fact-checking everything he represented was true and the FB Post was a misrepresentation. Bob has my vote and I hope others will consider supporting him too.

  10. I no longer live in the Salisbury area but if I did I would vote for Culver. You need some one to stand up for you. Not a yes man to Mayor Day. What a ego. The good ol boys network is definitely there. Get out and vote and stop complaining - make a difference it's your government make it work for you the taxpayer.

  12. 9:53 - Mathias stymied a lot of good legislation for the folks here in this county. Years ago with his buddy Norm Conway (no longer an elected official here), they confused the school board issue. Recently, Mathias voted to take control of the school and release it to businesses that paid him off. Liberal Jim needs to join his buddy Norm in looking for other employment!

  15. I just voted and did the Hokey Pokey there. I voted to put the RIGHT ones in and take the LEFT ones out! I'm an honest person and have no use for liars. In this election, you had to vote within your registered party. As much as it went against my better judgement, I will admit that I had a conflict with one of the selections. I could have skipped that vote but I wanted my vote to count against one particular person. I voted for Julie Brewington just to have at least one vote against Cannon. I would rather have a drunk than a skunk representing me here in Salisbury. I just hope that I don't live to regret it.

  16. I hope someone can put a bug in Jake Day's ear (maybe Bob can since he is gonna win this hands down) that bringing new business to downtown Salisbury is great unless it is a used car lot that looks like a junk yard (to include a US Mail truck wrecked) across the street from Brew River and the Port of Salisbury Marina. Smashed up cars and trucks, bumpers missing, just an eyesore. Thanks!!!

    1. Maybe you should be worried about all the run down homes instead of a business trying to do something good in the area..... it would probably be okay when you need a vehicle or when you need bodywork done !!

Jake's instructions are to leave that area alone to decay, then it'll be cheap and included in the new development after Perdue moves to Delaware.

  22. Bob is a lot like Trump. He's had successes and failures, but he learned from them.If a perfect man ran for office I would never vote for him.

  23. I'm 35 and don't vote. It's pointless. Google a video from Florida there a programmer who goes on record discussing ways he was ordered to manipulate the voting tech. As a security researcher, one knows that any software can be manipulated, same goes for hardware. There is no safety. You're all living in a bubble of false protection. I know of a teenager that owned the director of the CIA, need I say more? What's the point in voting? The powers that be will always get their way.
