Update: FBI INVESTIGATED SCHOOL SHOOTING THREAT MADE ON YOUTUBE LAST YEAR BUT COULD NOT IDENTIFY PERSON BEHIND IT - FBI AGENT IN CHARGE OF FLORIDA SCHOOL SHOOTING PROBE

Nikolas Cruz, the 19-year-old orphan with a troubled past, a fascination with weapons and resistance groups, and an AR-15 rifle, was charged with 17 counts of premeditated murder Thursday morning after being questioned for hours by state and federal authorities following the deadliest school shooting in the U.S. in five years.

Fourteen wounded survivors were hospitalized as bodies were recovered from inside and around Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, the AP reports.

Nikolas Cruz, still wearing a hospital gown after being treated for labored breathing, and weighing in at 5-foot-7 and 131 pounds, was ordered held without bond and booked into jail.

  2. The FBI really screwed that one up. I could have found that guy even without the FBI's help. I think any good private investigator could have found that guy within a few days maybe 1 day.

  3. It's an understatement to say the FBI dropped the ball. Then after the fact they keep the bodies in the school for nearly 24 hrs so they can "investigate" as if that should make everyone feel all warm and fuzzy. It's a shut and dry case. No need to go through the motions of ballistics and trajectory and where the bodies fell, etc. now after the fact. Many of the children were of the Jewish faith. Burial is supposed to take place within one day of death. The least these so called investigators could have done was to respect the children in death as they didn't in life. They just blew off a threat!
