Incident: Shooting Investigation
Date of Incident: October 22, 2017
Location: 7900 Royalty Way, Salisbury, MD
Suspects: Unknown at this time
Victims: Three victims were treated at PRMC, two were treated and released and the third was transported to R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma with non-life threatening injuries.
Narrative: On October 22, 2017 at approximately 0234 hours [02:30AM] deputies were dispatched to 7900 Royalty Way, Salisbury, MD, the Royal Farms Store, in reference to a shooting.
Upon arrival, deputies learned that a physical altercation took place that led to an individual producing a handgun and began firing. A female customer not involved in the altercation received minor injuries during the incident and was transported to PRMC. A short time later two additional victims arrived at PRMC in their personal vehicle. One was treated and released and the other was transported to R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma with non-life threatening injuries.
The Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division responded and is currently investigating the incident. ReplyDeleteThere needs to be uniformed police stationed all over the projects area,the westside VFW and now sadly the new Royal Farms store every weekend. That bar lets out and the violence begins. I drive by that area at all hours (shift worker) and it looks like a mob scene every weekend. This crap is getting out of control and the city wants to build more project housing??

ReplyDeleteI never go out at night in Salisbury. I am extremely careful when I have to do business down there during the day. Why are there so many able body black men and women walking along rt 13 during the week? This town is a pure sewer. Glad I don’t live in Salisbury.

ReplyDeleteBut, here is the important question, does the intersection at that location (White Lowe Road and Rt 50) need a traffic light? I mean, surely, we have to safely get these thugs across the roadway so that they can then shoot each other. Nobody seems to care that they shoot each other but, God forbid, they have an accident there. The calls for traffic safety and traffic lights will be out of control.
