Sad News From Pittsville. Dave White Has Passed Away



We have just been informed of the death of Dave White.  Mr White was the owner of the Pittsville Dinette for many years.  Our condolences to his family.

  1. Besides my mom this Dave's Pittsville Dinette was the only place I could get a fried baloney sandwich. This is a tragic loss to Wicomico County. RIP David.

  9. Dave was a good man. I ate at his restaurant every week for years up to the time he closed. Always stop at my table & asked if I needed anything. I will miss him.

  12. Crazy how we sold this just a few months ago. I just drove by the place a few weeks ago and he was outside with a potential buyer. Knew it personally, rip

  13. Ate a many of meals at Pittsville Dinette on Saturday morning with my dad before we went rabbit hunting and had a lot or beef, chicken and dumplings in that restaurant surrounded by his favorite sport racing. David white you will be missed

  14. Rip mr. White loved the home cooked meals you served and how homey it felt there.. And come on i am surprised no one mentioned one of the only places you could go to eat muskrat.. Eww..lol

  15. We drove by the Dinette on our way into Salisbury late Friday afternoon. There were cars parked in the parking lot. Something we sadly haven't seen in a while. When we came home about 9pm there were more cars there. Hope they are remember the good times they had there with Dave. RIP
