Selbyville – The Delaware State Police have arrested a mother and her son in connection with thefts from vehicles in the Selbyville, Ocean View, and Millville areas.

On Monday July 31, 2017 at approximately 2:15 a.m., troopers were dispatched to the area of the 36000 block of Wood Duck Way in the Swann Keys development for a reported theft in progress. The homeowner reported that a white male subject wearing camouflage pants was entering a vehicles in front of their house. When the witness yelled at the subject, he took off running. Troopers responding to Swann Keys observed a blue Ford Crown Victoria with a white male driving slowly through the neighborhood and attempted to conduct a traffic stop on the car.
