Breaking News: Anthony Weiner, the ex-congressman, will plead guilty to transferring obscene material to a minor in a "sexting" inquiry

Anthony D. Weiner, the former Democratic congressman whose “sexting” scandals ended his political career and embroiled him in a tumultuous F.B.I. investigation of Hillary Clinton before the election, is to appear in a federal courtroom in Manhattan on Friday to enter a guilty plea.

The information has not been made public but was related by two people who have been briefed on the matter and asked not to be identified.

    Would like to know what the DOJ is going to do with him for receiving and reading classified information on his computer. By law, he should be subject to indictment for this as well as his wife. This situation needs to be dealt with as soon as possible. It's all part of draining the swamp. Clearly, Weiner is still very present in that swamp and it would be appropriate for he and his wife be held accountable for their crimes against America.

    The deal is if he rolls over on Clinton he may avoid jail time. And quite frankly, I'd rather have the big fishies aka Hillary, Bill and Chelsea Clinton serving jail sentences for the rest of their natural lives. Let him squeal like a pig. It's about time the Clintons were brought to justice. Don't care about the 'how' just want it done. Yesterday!

    Chuck Schummer backed this guy and encouraged him to get involved in Politics, he was also a close friend of Bill Clinton's.
