L.L. Bean Chairman Responds To Attempted Anti-Trump Boycott

L.L. Bean Executive Chairman Shawn Gorman was not pleased to see that his company had been included on the "Grab Your Wallet" boycott list because of board member Linda Bean's public support of Donald Trump. In a statement posted on the company's Facebook page, Gorman explained that Linda Bean is just one of more 50 members of the extended Bean family involved in running the company, and that the company is home to many people of diverse political viewpoints and does not want to endorse any candidate. Gorman called the boycott "misguided" and asked for Grab Your Wallet to please remove the company from the list.

  1. You'd think liberals had better things to do with their time than harass companies and bash Trump 24/7. Just ridiculous because it's not going to stop him from becoming president. Their idiocy only validates why many believe liberalism is a mental disorder. They are over the top and just too hysterical to be in our government. It's time the whole party be put to rest because obviously it's made up of morons with nothing to offer society but upheaval and unrest. Who the heck needs more aggravation in their lives?

  2. A boycott won't hurt LL Bean. First of all the anti Trump crowd can't afford Bean and if they could they wouldn't be buying Bean anyway. They are tacky crass and vulgar people who because they are lacking in any good taste dress like ghetto dwellers and not in the classic refined styles offered by Bean.

  3. 936 there are some loony toon libs who can afford LL Bean (Meryl Streep etc.) who will actually not see this Grab Your Wallet as a way of social engineering to coerce people into attempting to bankrupt businesses. Find it hard to believe this doesn't violate some law considering it's a concentrated hit list to destroy any business who supported someone they didn't support. It's just a display of ignorance, but some will fall prey to this out of lack of personal discernment and sensibility.

  7. Clicking on the link it takes you to the list of all the places to patronize due to their non-liberal support. Maybe it's time reverse trend should come into play. Liberals don't know the value of money and just continue to generate upset in order to divide the country because they didn't get a corrupt criminal president. This is not in any way American values. Why support a group of people who don't hold our values as their own? What would they've done had we done this when Obama won?

  8. Speaking of Chick-Fil-A SU has done a real slick move. They're allowing them to open on Winter Break so the kids aren't here. Isn't that nice. Eshbach panders to comfort dog ideology instead of supporting a business with good food opening on campus. She should be kissing their stars because you know the SU is going to get some cut of the money they bring in plus it's a selling point when they give their dippy little tours around campus to perspective victims, uh, I mean students.
