Al Sharpton warned that "all that many of us have fought for all our lives is at stake" following Donald Trump's victory in the presidential election and vowed that "we are not going down without a fight and Donald Trump needs to know that."
Speaking Wednesday on MSNBC's "Morning Joe," Sharpton said "This is not Bernie Sanders populism. This is George Wallace populism that he's doing. And I think that many people have got to call it the way it is."
Sharpton said that Trump purposely ran a campaign based on racial fears and divisiveness, adding "He knew exactly what he was doing. He was playing to the worst elements."

Do hundreds of thousands of foreigners (not just mexicans, by any means, but Chechens, Iranians, Afghani's, Somali's, etc --- WTF are THEY crossing the mexican border for???) enter our country ILLEGALLY every year? Are they all upstanding citizens who want to learn our ways and language for a better future? No. Do we need to know which ones are which? Absolutely.
This is TRUTH. One of the reasons Trump whipped ace was the current "leaders" told us what they wanted us to BELIEVE and it contradicted what everyone else saw as reality. Yes, people cross the border to sell drugs, set up gangs, pimp young girls, launder money, rape and murder, and thumb their nose at the law. Yes, muslims do kill people (by the thousands!) and coming here usually doesn't sway them from murder and mayhem. People resented our leaders using us as targets to prove how wonderful they are and how kind they can be. No matter how many times they say it and demand we believe it, the sky ain't green.
Finally, Trump didn't play a racist agenda --- the democrats did by constantly whipping up fear by telling each group -- whomever they were in front of at the time -- that Trump was after them and going to deport them, jail them, attack them, single THEM out for "persecution".
It didn't work, and after screaming "racist!!" and "bigot!!" to anyone who would listen, they were essentially out of ammmo.
But they still won't stop screaming....
