It's on there website. Transmitters are still down. I've checked each day, but still nothing. I only have an antenna and refuse to pay the prices for comcast cable. Not paying for local channels!!!!!
Earlier post on their website said they expected problem to be fixed by Thursday afternoon. Now Friday afternoon and they expect repairs to be done soon. Poor advertisers should get a rebate.
No real loss to me. I don't really watch them, but I do miss Antenna tv. I get most of my shows from the internet through ROKU. I get the news on the internet. I check out the local news on 16 so I'm not missing anything. WMDT reminds me of the announcements on high school TV. Too youth oriented for my taste, with a slight tone of political correctness. I will say however, they report the local news on Delmarva better than WBOC. I would watch it more if they had some older or more experienced newscasters instead of kids just out of college or high school.
How many times over the past 20 years has WMDT been off the air for an extended period of time. Such a joke! Why would you not have both a hot spare and a cold spare for every piece of equipment at the transmitter site! Poor management to allow this to happen!
