  3. They are looking for someone.

  4. Heaven forbid they try and go after the drug dealers, speeders are safer.

  5. Just a way for the police to avoid the real crime in Salisbury and hope that citizens will follow suit. All balderdash nonsense. Waste of taxpayer money, too. Aren't their little insane Big Brother cameras doing their duty already? Looks like more toys for boys to me.

  12. Oops! It's the end of the month. Must be short on tickets for their quota. Better get out there and tag those beasts going 35 in a 30 zone. They're just tearing up the town and making it very unsafe for all us conscientious drivers.

    1. Who received a ticket for doing 35 in a 30 zone? Care to post the image from ETIX or case search?

  13. Gotta do something for funds or the city will be like Cecil Co.. That government is giving away water and waste water plants for pennies on the 10's of dollars to Artisan. It seems if you cant afford to fund pensions, health care, and maintain equipment just give up and let the taxpayer get screwed when water and sewer prices skyrocket.

    1. Cecil county is the pits. Lived THERE for years. Now the welfare crowd from Philadelphia, Baltimore, Wilmington have ducked it dry and working people left. At least the ones who can afford to get out.

  16. Can't tell by the pic, is this in a school zone? If not, it should be. That is where they are needed.

  17. Don't speed, nothing to worry about. I'm all for speed enforcement. Keep up the good job LE.

  18. Ticket money does not go to the city or the counties. It all goes to the state, so where is the incentive for local jurisdictions to write tickets?

  19. Stop speeding?

    Why? Because you say so?
How about this: Drive safely. Don't damage other people's property. If you do, pay for the damages.
How about some common sense? (Common Law)

The state does not need your money. They print plenty of their own.

  20. Safer going after speeders than real criminals! Whores working behind Giant, Drug dealers selling on Church st. & Division St., and downtown, Bums begging for cash at Walmart, and this is what Chief Duncan has them out doing.....

    ReplyDelete

    1. Yep you nailed it, Chief Duncan had the entire department out they're making hand stops for people speeding on Camden while The rest of the city was left to fend for itself. Thank God you called em out on this and brought it to everybody's attention.

  22. They could make just as much money if they set up by the crosswalk at 13 & College. Jaywalking tickets for walking against the signal. They are forever doing it, to the point that traffic that has the green light/arrow has to stop so as to not hit them. Do they not underrstand what the timer and red hand signal mean?!

  23. Get. The. Heroin. Off. Our. Streets.

Hey SPD don't be shocked when locals start snuffing out dealers since you refuse to.

  24. When is Salisbury University Police going to start running radar and handling accidents on Rt. 13, College Avenue, South Division Street, Camden Avenue, etc. around the College. The College is the cause of much of that traffic and the accidents around there.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Yeah all these places getting robbed don't go over the speed limit and stay off your phones cause that's all the police know to look for

    ReplyDelete
  26. 10:10pm. Your exactly right. Those college kids could care less what the signals are. They cross when they feel like it. And their driving sucks as well. I have had more than one of them pull right out in front of me on Camden. And laugh about it or give you the finger in their mirror.
