SDSU Muslim Student Assoc. Demands Ban on ‘Anti-Islamic Rhetoric’

Muslim students at the publicly funded San Diego State University are demanding that school officials create a speech code to stamp out anything that they consider Islamophobic.

The College Fix reported on Monday that the school’s Muslim Student Association created a list of demands including speech codes to stem out offensive speech, similar to the demands created by the #BlackLivesMatter movement on college campuses.

“We the Muslim Student Association at San Diego State University” called for a ban on “Islamophobic speech,” and demanded the school enact “bystander training,” “increased course work on Islam,” and granted additional funds for The Center for Intercultural Relations.

  2. NEVER meet Muslims demands. They have no right to demand anything. Send them back to their own countries...

  4. If they do not like our freedom of speech then go back to their own country. I don't like their use of our freedom of speech to spread hate towards Americans and to push their Sharia Law. I don't like our government giving them college money / breaks in tuition / Grants / loans. They are hypocrites.
