HEY MARYLAND…WANT MORE SUNSHINE?

boardwalk.jpg
Maryland was just named the hardest working state and even though we work hard all year long... everyone here enjoys summer!
For Marylanders, and visitors to our state, summer means enjoying the Inner Harbor, the Boardwalk, crabs, fishing, boating, sailing, festivals, horse racing, and beaches.
SIGN THE PETITION TO EXTEND THE SUMMER IN MARYLAND!
The economic impact for Maryland would be an estimated $70+ million a year! Starting school after Labor Day will bring new and needed revenue to small businesses, increase wages and provide families with another week of quality time together.
It's not just great for families…it’s great for Maryland!

Sign the petition to have school start after Labor Day now:

  1. The whole idea that our children should work less on their education makes no sense except to those who are more interested in making recreation our primary activity because of the money they could make. We should be focused on things that can really advance humanity.

  2. They can still do all the school days. Just take less days off during the school year.

  3. LOL 3:54, if you think for one second the public schools systems are really and truly educating the children you are utterly and grossly uninformed.

  4. And while you are at it, demand that daylight savings time changeover end.

  5. Education is mind control and dumbing down of the children.
The less time they spend in there the better off they will be.
