  8. If the "protesters" spent as much effort trying to do good in their communities, the events leading to this incident would probably have never happened.

But instead, they would rather destroy and loot. What's the common thread here in all the instances of unrest?

Hogan should have called the Guards out yesterday. The riots should have certainly been anticipated.

  12. Yep, that's what I heard. Freddie had already broken the bones in his neck in an accident either in a taxi or with a taxi and one false move type of thing would rebreak the bones and could severe his spinal cord and that's what happened.

    1. A false move forced by police! Do you think for one second they listened to him if and when he said he was already hurt? Hell no! Spine injury? Who cares....cuffed in the back.

  13. The important thing here is to follow the news and media on this as close as possible, and not be distracted by anything going on in DC or on Wall St.

  15. Just because you have a previous injury dont mean the police isnt liable for his death. I you beat a hand cuffed man, then your reaponsible.

  17. Eye contact with LEO is now a crime, and riding your bike away from an officer is now an exacerbating circumstance. For doing that brings the immediate death penalty. Before a trial, of course. So, just what the He++ do these cops expect to happen?

    Don't you get that?

    DUH?

  18. We are all basing our comments on conjecture. I KNOW I was not there were you. One should never base a core belief on hearsay.

The city of Baltimore has a Black Mayor and a Black Police Commissioner. I think they are vigorously investigating this issue.

The police have contact with over one million people daily nation wide. If there are 10,000 bad contacts that should not be alarming. It is a profession based on laws and standards.

The police will inherently make mistakes that is human. The 990,000 other contacts go without incident. As one can easily see there are people in our society that are willing to go to the extremes to violate the laws of the land. These laws designed to protect them and the community.

Violence is never the answer. This will polarize race relations in this country. It has set race relations back fifty years.

Wicomico County had three deaths relating to law enforcement contacts. I am proud to say I live in a county that the people waited for the conclusion of the investigations before acting.

The media has played a damning role in trying to provoke violence after each of these situations.

They avoid talking about the fact that over eighty-five percent of African Americans are killed by other African Americans. Why is this? Some pray for our way of freedom to suffer. All Americans should stand as one.

    Sad Times are upon us.

  19. Thank you 1:03 am! I keep hearing them say it is not people from Baltimore that are causing the problems. In their next sentence they say that a flier was going around the schools today to meet at the mall to 'purge' it. These ARE locals that are destroying the city.
