  1. I wonder if all the illegals will have to have those as well. And who will pay for it?

  2. Keep in mind, this is not law. You can opt your child out of vaccines if you wish.

  3. Yes...we know you can opt out. That is why children's diseases that were stamped out years ago are now back in force and children are dying from them. Whooping cough for one. Just more rift raft to deal with. If you child has a legitimate reason for not being able to take shots, don't but for heavens sake don't inflict my healthy child with your poor behavior. Sadly...some children NEVER see a doctor for anything.

  4. "You can opt your child out of vaccines if you wish."

Because letting my child get measles is a learning experience not to be denied!

  5. 2:55-the reason "why children's diseases that were stamped out years ago are now back in force" is because the federal government isn't doing it's job. Nothing more nothing less. At the turn of the century immigrants entering the US were subject to medical exams and quarantined if need be. It's those from other countries that are bringing these diseases back on US soil. A little unknown fact is that children who are/were vaccinated are contracting these diseases more frequently than those who weren't vaccinated, this most likely because the number of US children without vaccines is quite low. Theses are strains of disease we've not seen, so our vaccines are quite useless against them.

  6. 2:55-CA had a recent outbreak of Whopping Cough. 81% of those affected were current on vaccine. As stated above, it's a different stain being brought in by the immigrant population and it's not exclusive to Whopping Cough.

  7. Parents who opt out of vaccines are endangering all of us, not just their won children. It should seriously be illegal to opt out of vaccines for no good reason.

  10. The US is seeing a surge in Hansen's Disease as well. For those who are unfamiliar, it's Leprosy. All were illegal immigrants. Prior to this decade only 900 cases of it reported in the past 40 yrs. This decade has seen over 9000 cases.

  11. Yet they will do nothing if they don't or won't get all the required vaccines!

  12. Keep allowing the illegals's in and bring their germs with them....guess that is Obama's plan!

  13. Do research on the shots - kids don't need all of these!!! How have we lived?!

  14. Check with your child's school. While CDC makes recommendations each state determines it's own entry requirements.

  15. I think that all these new diseases are cause and reason enough to go back to checking school age children. If they were allowed to check for visible signs of these conditions... some could be stopped before they are passed in school...plus nurses could also see the little girls and boys who have scares from abuse while doing so.
