Any Information On Repeated Delmarva Power Outages Today

Dear Joe,

Have you heard anything about the power outages from Delmarva Power today ranging from Beaver Run School in Wicomico County all down Old Ocean City Road through Pittsville?

Outages 10:01 this morning and then again at 12:58? All we are getting is a recording.

Any feedback would be welcome.

  4. Anyone on the Energy Wise program needs to cancel it. All of us that thought they would have more sense than to cut peoples electric off in 8 degree weather last week were very cold. They did it and don't care so for that $8.00 they give me in summer per month, they can shove it! They are not controlling my thermostat in the winter. Mine is cancelled!!

  7. No new poles! Put the wires underground. Also the Energy Wise program is something separate from smart meters.

  9. It was pole and transformer work on Mt. Hermon Road near Phillip Morris Drive. There were power outages all over the East side due to this.

  10. Hey, you can always g online and see where the power outages are!

That is, IF you have power. And your ISP has power, and they are up to date...

Maybe the phone, if the lines aren't down.

  11. Sounds like a drill to me.Desensitize people to being without power so that when the BIG grid shutdown occurs we won't be helpless.Keep a tank of propane handy and a few gallons of drinking water.Flashlights and batteries wouldn't hurt.Just pretend you're camping out.Make sure you have a bag of marshmallows for the kids to roast.
