  2. If Ireton resigns is there another election?

  3. he berates her, kicks a doorstop and generally has a temper tantrum, hissy fit, THEN nominates her for the same position?

just like obammy, it gets worse in the second term.

  4. would you still be interested in running for mayor joe?

  6. anonymous 3:06, funny you should say that or ask that question.

My Wife and I discussed that last night. I said, yeah, wouldn't they sh*t a brick if I decided to run again.

This time I would demand paper ballots, not that they would allow it but it would prove just how scared Ireton would be. I mean, IF the man is so allegedly popular, why not participate in an honest election this time around.

But to answer your question, time will tell.

  7. I'd like to add, don't you think for a second that I don't believe the whole Lore' Chambers/Jim Ireton thing wasn't staged. THINK ABOUT IT.

  9. Well, there goes his plans to primary Norm Conway!

  10. I hope she gets every penny of it, plus some. I also hope she prevails in her law suit against Ireton personally.

  11. How many minority department heads does Salisbury have again?

    Zero?

44% minorities and zero people of color in leadership.

And the NAACP backed this guy?

Shame on them! They need to stop being a wing of the Democratic party and start backing people who aren't racist.

  12. If the city has a D&O (Directors & Officers) policy or rider to insure against inadvertent wrongdoing by its mayor and officials, how is it worded regarding intentional actions?

    Just a thought.

  13. LOL! Go, Lori! He's toast!

  14. Have to agree with Joe and his statement of this whole thing with those two being staged.

  15. Staged how? As in it's a conspiracy between Jim and Lore to get some money out of the city?

  16. Maybe she can fake a faint like Obama's stage hand. What a crock of ship.

  17. Yeah! Let's celebrate getting sued! We pay in the end.

  18. It's only the tip of the iceberg, more lawsuits to come.

  20. Hey Dr. Freddy:

When are you going to can this clown????

  21. Let me see if I understand this:
Lori sues and wins , which she will.
    She collects $750,00 or whatever.
She splits the money with Ireton.
This little trick is done all around the country , mostly California.
Ireton has enough money for all the boy friends he wants!

  22. Good idea with the paper ballots Joe. That way Chuck Cook can't RIG the election like he did last time.

  23. Hope they get that black judge you see in the circuit court sometime -- he would send her back on the street where she belongs.

    1. Dr. Chambers didn't come from the streets genius.

  24. Fake Day is just as responsible as Ireton -- he could have insisted that the clown was not acting properly to fire Chambers (who certainly deserved being fired, but according to the rules).

Salisbury will never cease being "the banana republic of the Eastern Shore" - and that should be the city motto.

    1. And why did she deserve to be fired...for being competent, educated, or black?

Not defending Liarton, but this woman wasn't a people person and her better than thou attitude sucked.

    1. Obviously you know nothing about this woman and the programs she handled to help the homeless and poor.

  26. 9:03 - surely, you jest:

"why did she deserve to be fired...for being competent, educated"

Her degree is from a Matchbook U. and she is highly incompetent except as a rabble-rouser.
