Jim Ireton Greets Parents And Students At Willards Elementary This Morning

Did Jim Ireton get transferred to Willards? He was seen early this morning greeting everyone coming through the doors and we were told, "I could recognize that voice before I ever saw him". They went on to say that this was not the way they wanted to start their morning. Maybe he's campaigning for something. Anthony Brown gave Jim the boot for Barbara Makulski. I wonder what it could be.

  8. I do not know him, never met him as I live in Dorchester. BUT if he is so terrible why is he still employed by the Board of Ed and why was he elected Mayor?

  9. It may be that he is now assigned to Willards instead of the gifted program at Pittsville. I'm sure he wouldn't be campaigning on school time this morning.

  10. 10:13 AM, You ask why is he still employed by the BOE - Good question, we would all like to know - maybe him and Frederickson have something in common???? As far as being elected mayor, we have a lot of BS that goes on in this town - probably need to ask the slum lords why he's still mayor.

  11. Pittsville you don't have a lot going for you recently. If this is indeed true its a black eye for your town.

  12. Sometimes jobs are created for selected persons whether or not they are qualified to hold them. Those positions aren't posted and no interviews are held. For the extra T.A.D. position created at Pittsville but now gone, many excellent teachers were not given the opportunity to apply for it. IF the new Willards job is as a reading teacher, same goes. Attend the board of ed. meeting next Tuesday and become involved.

Because there are a lot of needs in the city of Salisbury for the BOE so Jim Ireton is the closest link.

  15. Many schools lost teaching positions this year. North Salisbury lost our math intervention teacher. Why create a new half time job for someone who could have done the math job half time? Is the board saying Willards needed a new intervention position more than North needed to keep ours? Love to see the data justifying that.

  16. He lifestyle is immoral and perverse. Never realized that such an immoral and perverse person could reach high levels in education and local politics. People and the BOE need to inquire into his Delaware beach perverted love fest. This pervert should never be in a position of authority over children. He is not a role model; he is an abomination.
