What a lot of times this amounts to is a simple thing that is required for promotion in the department, here is how it works.
In order to get promoted you need to show that you have participated in a number of different types of crime investigations, or arrests, in order to do that you have to have a physical presence at the scene. When you here of a stop or an entry that involves drugs, guns, prostitution, illegal gambling, any of the various crimes committed in your patrol area, you show up, get noticed by the lead detective, or arresting officer, or commander at the scene and then you put it down in your report as having been there. You now got experience in that crime for later advancement! It is all BS, or Office politics, like employment anywhere.
Then there is the Felony Arrest of a wanted fugitive, you need that on your reassume, and also there is the “Officer needs assistance”, and then everyone goes, it is a call for help. So you just don’t know when you see a “Crowd”, but most likely, it is just a “Show of Force”, to get noticed.

    1. 12:30 it's also easy overtime. Just have the primary put all the others down as witnesses and everyone gets to go to court for a day of fun and pay.

  6. Thank you Gerald for sharing your hypocrisy with us normal folk.

  7. Lets start with the amount of squad cars, there are 6 in the picture.

Next, as the title says, "at the border", Maybe Fruitland responds here till the Sheriffs office arrives or visa versa. Maybe there was an attempted rape or kidnapping of the female. Maybe the female was beating up the male. Truth is we don't know. If it concerns you so much call the chief or the sheriff.
