17,600 Mercury Milan and Ford Fusion gas-electric hybrids to be repaired

Editors Note: Let's see, what two companies didn't borrow from the United States Government with bailout money? Ford/Toyota.

  1. I just read an article in Business Week that indeed Ford borrowed between 8 and 9 billion from the federal goverment in the TARP bail out frenzy!!

  2. More important-which companies don't employee UNION workers. Its all about the UNIONIZATION of the private sector.

  3. Honda didn't take money either. Neither did Hundai (which also makes Kia), BMW, Mercedes, Volkswagen.

If you are insinuating that this is happening to help GM and Chrysler regain market share and repay the government, consider:

    1. The feds don't own nearly as much as they should. The unions have it.

    2. GM and Chrysler aren't competent enough to make a respectable hybrid. If they can't get cars on the road, they can't be recalled, can they?
