Enforcement of mandatory mask order would require draconian police powers.
Dr. Deborah Birx has suggested that Americans may have to start wearing masks inside their own homes in order to fight the spread of coronavirus.
“What we are seeing today is different from March and April. It is extraordinarily widespread. It’s into the rural as equal urban areas,” Birx told CNN.
She then suggested that some Americans may need to cover their faces inside their own homes in order to protect other family members.
“If you’re in multi-generational households, and there’s an outbreak in your rural area or in your city, you need to really consider wearing a mask at home,” said Birx.
The doctor’s advice echoes that of the Texas Division of Emergency Management head Nim Kidd, who said people should wear masks indoors if they have potentially exposed themselves to the virus by being outside.
Florida’s state Democrats have also called for mandatory mask orders which would enforce wearing them inside homes, while residents of Miami and Miami-Dade County have also been told by mayors to wear masks indoors.

This is what I've been saying all along All these moron mask police who because of their own complete failures in life feel compelled to confront people in public for not wearing masks are so dumb they don't know a mask is only effective if you wear it ALL the time. ReplyDeleteHold on folks, re-read the article. She is not sending in the Gestapo. She is simply saying that if your elderly parents live with you (or grandparents), your spouse and children, it may be safer for the elderly for the family to wear masks to keep them safer.

A schedule will be issued going alphabetically on your allotted time do such and then you must re-mask.
Northwest Woodsman: Just more pushing of the Marxist agenda. They are experimenting to see just how far they can implement their communist agenda before they receive serious pushback. They will never relent now that they know that “useful idiots” will comply with their every demand. I can’t wait until they come on my five acre property and tell me that I must wear a mask. What we really need now is some veterans from the Phoenix Program to recall their training and practice their trade.
