Cannabis is bad for the heart and may trigger heart attacks and strokes, doctors have warned.
The American Heart Association (AHA), who reviewed the available evidence, now recommend avoiding cannabis to protect the heart.
In a scientific statement, it said smoking cannabis has some of the same harms as tobacco, which is known to be a leading cause of death worldwide.

For all of the fools on here this is the same thing they do all of the time any time they realize something may work or may cut into their money they have the means in power to control everyone and have them say how terrible something is for you... Simply put there’s plenty of other ways to use it.. And not one single scientific study has shown anything wrong with it look at England how they tested those poor women giving them high doses of THC during pregnancy just to see if they would have children with any birth defects not a single one out of 137 patients I don’t care what anyone says the shit they spray on our food is worse than anything you can put in your body

ReplyDeleteI don't understand why they can't allow people to do what they want. If you want to drink?? Drink. If you want to smoke?? Smoke. All these useless programs that most can't afford to help people stop. What is their score of actually getting people to stop?? All I see are people going to rehabilitation. Just to go back to it right after. Just to go right back in. To just get out and do it again. USELESS.
ReplyDeleteTaking in smoke from a burned substance is unhealthy.
ReplyDeleteWhen Walter Raleigh showed King James how tobacco was smoked, His response was that it looked like a nasty habit. This is the same King James that commissioned the Bible to be printed for all the people to read and have a copy for themselves. A very wise man.
I use cannibas for chronic pain and it works. I have dealt with the condition for several years and have tried pills,PT,etc with very limited results. The edibles work well and are more effective in my case. Plus, you don't go around smelling like a Rasta.
ReplyDeleteYou're burning organic matter and inhaling it into your lungs, of course it won't be good for you. There are many healthy alternatives such as ingestion of CBD or THC.
ReplyDeleteMaybe the government's version of cannabis. They'll put anything in their crap!

You need to immediately go and let Harvard Edu know this since you know more then they do!
Here you go Einstein-" Most of the evidence about marijuana is based on studies of people who smoked it. But even if you ingest marijuana by other methods, such as edibles or tinctures, the drug can still affect your cardiovascular system. The plant contains more than 100 unique chemical components classified as cannabinoids. The two most prevalent are tetrahydrocannabinol, or THC (which is what gives people a "high"), and cannabidiol, or CBD. These compounds bind to specific receptors in the brain. "But cannabinoid receptors are found throughout the body, including on heart cells, fat cells, and platelets, which are cells in the blood involved in clot formation," says Dr. Vaduganathan."
Let's look at Jamaica and see if they have an abnormal number of heart issues.
