Maryland governor 'eyeing a 2024 run for the White Houses' warns the GOP needs to be a 'bigger tent party' after Trump leaves office

A Republican governor rumored to be eyeing a run for the White House in 2024 has said the GOP needs to be a 'bigger tent party' after President Trump has left office.

Maryland's Larry Hogan, who has been known to break with Trump, told NBC's 'Meet the Press' that he doesn't 'know what the future holds in November.'

Hogan said: 'I know that the Republican Party is going to be looking at what happens after President Trump and whether that´s in four months or four years.

'And I think they´re going to be looking to, "How do we go about becoming a bigger tent party?"'

  1. Shut up Hogan. You like McNally won't stand a chance. People in Maryland hate you. People outside of Maryland don't know you. Besides. Pence will mop you up. He's for Trump. You've been against Trump. People won't forget that.

I hope that bald headed bastard does run. Maryland will not forget him and the Nazi treatment all the voters have endured. He'll be one of the only Governor's that didn't carry his home state. A stupid bastard who imposed the will of Andrew Cuomo on Marylanders because he had NO original ideas and aroused the ire of the President needs to taste the bitter wine of defeat.
What a wolf in sheeps' clothing and a bitter disappointment. Republican my ass and now the whole state knows it. I hope the knucklehead does run so he can experience the let downs we have.
    Burn in Hell Hoggan.

  7. That idiot can't even run our small state right. Has any one tried calling any state service. It's a joke. They won't even answer the phone. And how about the DMV? You need to make an appointment to get inside, but you don't find that out until you drive over there. Yea, Hogan wouldn't make a pimple on a good leaders ass. Forget it larry.

  9. He needs to take his eye off of the White House. Not so hot running a state. Going to embarrass himself due to a big head.

  15. Big Larry looking to expand the big tent in the age of identity politics is futile. That was a good laugh.

  16. Fat Larry needs to at least pretend that he is working for the Citizens of Maryland!

  17. The only thing Hogan should be eyeing is retirement or impeachment his choice.

  18. Good luck with that, loser! Won't get my vote!

  19. He could never win a primary if he were running against a true conservative. Hogan could never bring himself to the point of uttering the words "I support the second amendment".

  20. I think JEB! Bush is behind this talk of Gov. Hogan running for President. The Bushes hoping to get back in control and continue their thieving ways. Ain't gonna work guys. We know too much!

  21. I’m sure you remember how happy we were to get a republican in that office. He started nearly day one lowering toll fees or something of that nature. We were tickled. But, like many it didn’t take long before the change. I am of the opinion he pulled the wool over our eyes and was a damorat from the beginning. What happen to the gun promises he was for when running? I’ll stick with Trump. Don’t care what his niece has to say or what his taxes (none of my business) show. He even told us he took advantage of the tax breaks because they were stupid laws available. Lol He has done a good job and has hell the entire time. Go Trump!

  23. Hogan, the Nazi Hitler, has done nothing to better the quality of life for Marylanders. Hogan, aka Hitler is a Democrat and never has been a true conservative Republican. Hogan is the prime example of why Trump won when he promised to drain the swamp / Hitler Brown Shirts.

    1) Hogan, aka Hitler, has acted and give in to all the Democrat bullies.
2)Hogan, aka Hitler, has stolen for the Maryland State Employee Retirement Fund and never put the money back.
    3) Hogan, aka Hitler, has destroyed the Maryland State Retirement Fund for career State Employees that were mandated to contribute and cut their benefits while He is going to collect his undeserved retirement and benefits.
    4) Hogan, aka Hitler has spent tax dollars on Korean made test for virus which were never FDA approved.

Must I go on? Hogan, aka Hitler should resign immediately and give up his unearned retirement he wants and all benefits that go with it.

  24. Larry Hogan needs to get his own house in order first before attempting to move towards the White House! Too litle, Too late!

  25. At the end of the day we paid for the fine governor to have his massive side walk dug up, removed and replaced with a heated side walk located as his 10 square foot mansion. Statues bad but blowing other peoples money gooood

  26. Ha ha ha Hogan......he will be so far behind Trump Jr. or Haley he won’t even get honorable mention!!!! Only a good Governor in his eyes!

  27. Hogan still doesn't understand WHY President Trump was elected by Patriots...he's a clueless man for sure. We just about LOST America to the New World Order and he thinks this is OK. Even IF we had elected a Different Republican that was running against Trump, we would have been in the New World Order by now...Many of us living in FEMA camps...What is so hard to understand regarding this issue.

NO; Hogan is a RINO on steroids and for all intent and purposes, not good for America.

  30. Will somebody tell Larry Hogan to stay off the Fox News Channel? He is exposing himself how incompetent he is for a run at the White House which he will NEVER get elected too!! He was on the Daily Briefing with Dana Perino today which made me nauseous!

  31. Maybe Sheriff Gloryhound can give him a call and tell him to stay off the Fox News Channel since they are close buddies!! Oh, I forgot Sheriff Gloryhound loves to be on Fox News! LOL

  34. He is another Lindsey Graham globalist that will never be the President but wants to be in DC and get paid.

  35. If Hogan really wanted to be El Presidento then why did he not run in 2020 like he originally planned.

IMHO - he'll end up just like O'Malley, you know him, MD's significant previous Governor. I feel just like the other above poster, I do not believe he will carry his own home State against Pence.

  36. Since we kicked out the RHINO republicans our tent is filling with reformed democrats.
