A Viewer Writes: The Wicomico County Board of Education, (WCBOE) Is Racist
The Wicomico County Board of Education sides with the Marxist anarchists and validates looters, rioters, ANTIFA, and the Black Liberation Movement (disguised as Black Lives Matter). WCBOE is anti-police and solely blames white people for the racial divide and social unrest in this country. All black people are good, and white people are bad. To them, racism is one-way (only from white people) and all black people are victims and incapable of racism. WCBOE is discriminating against white people with a mission to guilt people for their color and it's illegal. The DOJ can do nothing as it's overwhelmed as this is happening all across our country.
I call for defunding the board of education. Its pretty obvious we don't need buildings and we don't need the board of education to dictate indoctrination curriculum of marxist ideologies humanistic pagan approaches that have failed. Ever since taking prayer & the pledge of allegiance out of our schools it has been a downward slope ever since. What makes you think they would not jump on any marxist bandwagon of the day. So Are Ready for school vouchers yet and Tell me again why we are paying taxes to support this farce of an education system!! To think that the national education system is not on board with the new old order curriculum and agenda you are gravely mistaken. Give us back our tax dollars and let us shop for the best education for our children

I'm a teacher in wicomico and the liberals have ruined our education system. But at Parkside High School the pledge of allegiance is read over the loud speaker every morning. Including one nation under god.
I'm a teacher too and I'd give anything for current ultra-liberal policies to be replaced with middle ground common sense. If you're scared to show up and teach, be one of the online teachers for the kids who are scared to show up and learn. Let the rest of us return and have true education. Also, let discipline return based on conduct and character not race and a fear of parental backlash. Enough is enough Dr. Hanlin- step up or bow out.
I know of a teacher who taught in wicomico county for 1 year. The next year she decided to teach elsewhere. Why?? SAFTEY FROM THE STUDENTS AND THEIR PARENTS. She said all the school is for them is a DAYCARE CENTER.

I see comments that the WCBOE page on teaching race to your children doesn't refer to race. You have to visit the links at the bottom of the WCBOE page to see. It certainly does mention specific races and biased in every shape and form. Their left-wing theology of twisted endorsed links are highly discriminatory and racist. 1st of all teachers have to teach what the state and national department of education requires them to teach. That is the issue. That decision of what to teach and how much is taught relies on politicians and people who have never taught a day in their life. I am convinced many graduates today could not pass the 8th grade standards test from the 40's. 2nd is School discipline! kids and people in general are out of control! We don't need to retrain teachers or cops we need to train the general public on how to be nice to people and respectful of others. 3rd is wasteful spending in education: ie..why do we need new math books every 5 years ? Math is math it has not changed ALSO school construction and bidding is political and wasteful !

Im a Democrat by registration, but at this point I rep no party and will cross party lines back and forth all day to support those who share my views no matter their affiliation. In Wicomico County, School administration does not support employees that do not support the liberal left. They will not support parents that are conservative or Christian. If you are not tolerant of criminal activity and immorality you are the problem and they will discriminate against you calling you a bigot, racist or homophobe. The schools have been dominated by Marxist ideology and they are failing those that are ready, willing and able to learn while trying to coddle those that aren’t with tolerance and lenience. Educators are a joke as they do everything but today!
While I disagree that all white people are bad or all black people are good. People are people, however, black people cannot be racist. White people own racism. Black people do not have the power to oppress white people. Black people are not the majority, white people are. Everywhere you go, white people are in control, the courts, the police stations, the schools, the hospitals, the banks, the local councils...and they are all infiltrated with racists whether they mean to be or not. Know that black people are fed up and calling white people out on their decades of racism, some of you are uncomfortable. It makes you angry, how dare those colored people!
