Worcester County Sheriff’s Office Press Release (KKK and Anti-government literature)

On Thursday, June 18, 2020, the Worcester County Sheriff’s Office responded to the Seaside Village neighborhood in West Ocean City for a report of suspicious packages left in resident’s driveways.

When deputies arrived they located approximately 20 residences where sandwich sized plastic bags filled with bird seed and Ku Klux Klan and anti-government related literature were recovered. The bags were placed in every driveway, not targeting any specific residence.

Later that day similar bags were located along Dinges Road and Germantown Road in Berlin and in the Pennington Place neighborhood outside of Ocean Pines.

An investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact the Worcester County Sheriff’s Office at 410-632-1111.

As always, please report any suspicious activity to your local law enforcement agency immediately.

    1. Yes it did and nothing came of it. This is some idiot looking for 5 seconds of local news and maybe a national attention. News outlets should not even mention it, it would boost their ego!!

  5. They should have destroyed a building or blocked a major highway or ripped down a protected national property cost millions in damages. That would be ok also no social distancing required and mask optional during the felony. Put it on YouTube and it will not be flagged and can make some money off it.

  13. You can thank Commissioner Purnell for making a huge deal over nothing but littering and free speech.

    1. Typical of the lower slower eastern shore to open an investigation on something they can’t even press charges on. Guess they don’t understand freedom of speech. Wasting County time and manpower on charges that won’t stick.
