    EVERY NATIONALITY has been a slave at sometime in their existence. Only the blacks caught let it go. The reason they can't??

    Really? 400 years of slavery vs. 4 years of war. And if I'm not mistaken Japan HAS apologized for Pearl Harbor.

    1863 - 1619 = 400? Try again; use a calculator this time.

    You may also wish to recall many states didn't permit slavery, and that importation of slaves was banned before the Civil War. Slavery was wrong but occasional accuracy is helpful, too.
