At Least 7 Minneapolis Police Officers Resign – 7 More in Process of Resigning

Leftists rioted and looted over 270 businesses in Minneapolis in the last three weeks following the death of George Floyd during an arrest in the city last month.

The Minneapolis City Council voted to replace the police department last week with a “community-led public safety system.”

The Minneapolis police have been abused by city officials and violent protesters.

So it should come as no surprise that seven police officers have resigned and several more are in the process of leaving.

  1. Who can blame them? All that they stood for, trained for, had ingrained in their psyche is for naught. When leadership turns their back to save face, rank and file has no choice. Inner cities have lost their way; criminal behavior is becoming the new normal for the sake of racial justice.

  3. I back the blue. Let's see how that works with no police. Thugs are bad when there are police. Wait to see what happens when they are all gone. Remember they will get what they deserve and asked for. Stay safe those in blue.

  4. Offer them jobs here OC....as well as the SWAT team from FLA who also resigned. If just one came with experience it wouldn't hurt. Plus City Fail....u know all the vacant condos and Townhouses around here...win win for everyone.. don't let money ruin another opportunity.

  5. Tip of the iceberg. Now that the cop in Atlanta has been charged today with murder, police officers in those types of cities will leave in droves to law and order friendly places or, quit the profession entirely.
