A Viewer Writes: No More Masks

I went to Wal Mart and Home Depot today without a mask. HD I passed both doormen and about 6 other employees, WM, 3 doormen and 4 other employees. No one said a word about it.

It’s OVER. I carried 2 copies of the attached paper, one for whoever stopped me and one for any police encounter.

ALL LAWS MUST COMPLY WITH THE CONSTITUTION OR THEY ARE VOID!! (ALL EMBOLDENING, ENLARGING, ITALICIZATION, UNDERLINING ADDED) . “A law repugnant to the Constitution is void. An act of Congress repugnant to the Constitution cannot become a law. The Constitution supersedes all other laws and the individual’s rights shall be liberally enforced in favor of him, the clearly intended and expressly designated beneficiary.” –Marbury v. Madison, 5 U.S. 137 (1803)        “An unconstitutional law is void and is as no law.  An offense created by it is not crime.  A conviction under it is not merely erroneous but isillegal and void and cannot be used as a legal cause of imprisonment.” – Ex parte Siebold, 100 U.S. 371 (1879)        “An unconstitutional act is not law.  It confers no rights; it imposes no duties; affords no protection; it creates no office.  It is, in legal contemplation, as inoperative as though it had never been passed.” – Norton v. Shelby County, 118 U.S. 425 (1886) “Where rights secured by the Constitution are involved, there can be no rulemaking or legislation which would abrogate them.” –Miranda v. Arizona, 384 U.S. 436 (1966)        “The general misconception is that any statute passed by legislators bearing the appearance of law constitutes the law of the land. The U.S. Constitution is the supreme law of the land, and any statue, to be valid, must be in agreement. It is impossible for both the Constitution and a law violating it to be valid; one must prevail. This is succinctly stated as follows: The general rule is that an unconstitutional statute, though having the form and name of law, is in reality no law, but is wholly void, and ineffective for any purpose; since unconstitutionality dates from the time of its enactment, and not merely from the date of the decision so branding it. An unconstitutional law, in legal contemplation, is as inoperative as if it had never been passed. Such a statute leaves the question that it purports to settle just as it would be had the statute not been enacted. “Since an unconstitutional law is void, the general principals follow that it imposes no duties, confers no rights, creates no office, bestows no power or authority on anyone, affords no protection, and justifies no acts performed under it…A void act cannot be legally consistent with a valid one. An unconstitutional law cannot operate to supersede any existing valid law. Indeed, insofar as a statute runs counter to the fundamental law of the land, it superseded thereby. No one is bound to obey an unconstitutional law and no courts are bound to enforce it.” – 16 American Jurisprudence 2d, Sec. 177        “No one is bound to obey an unconstitutional law, and no courts are bound to enforce it. The general rule is that an unconstitutional statute, whether federal or state, though having the form and name of law, is in reality no law, but is wholly void and ineffective for any purpose, since unconstitutionality dates from the time of its enactment, and not merely from the date of the decision so branding it.  AN UNCONSTITUTIONAL LAW, in legal contemplation, IS AS INOPERATIVE AS IF IT HAD NEVER BEEN PASSED.“ – 16 American Jurisprudence 2d, Sec. 256

  1. Eh. That's a brilliant idea. I am a constitutionalist, I believe in people's personal freedoms from tyranny. But, you sir are stupid. If you wish to get infected with a deadly virus, then so be it. Please feel free to not wear your mask. But, there have been a great many people, like you, who felt that masks were tyrannical and have died from COVID. Just saying. It's incumbent upon you to protect yourself, not the government, and certainly not walmart. Make all the announcements you like but, if you are dead there are no announcements left to make.

    1. 10:07. The covid statistics are virtually the same as the flu stats. Stop with the fear mongering. The chances of you dying because you don’t wear a mask is almost zero.

You are going to feel really stupid when you realize the mask does NOT protect the wearer. It is for the others who are breathing your exhaust.

      Crazy, right?

  3. You've got to be kidding me. All this trouble because you don't want to wear a mask on your face? Imagine if you did something productive with that effort. The virus is still out there and a facemask isn't there to protect you from inhaling it, it's to protect other people from your droplets. You seem like the type of person to inoculate yourself accidentally from a surface and then spread it since masks are just too unconstitutional for you.

    1. Did CNN tell you that?

    2. Droplets go both ways..if it won't protect you, it won't protect others...you sneeze, cough, etc. that little paper or cloth masks won't keep virus particles in or out.

  4. If you really think by wearing a mask is giving up your freedom - no wonder we are in the shape we are in - come on man - take a stand against taxes, take a stand against the rules and regulations that are imposed everyday on millions of Americans. Fight for something worth making an issue over. Restaurants can't even open their doors, bars are basically shut down, businesses are trying to save themselves with curbside pickup, lawsuits reign over every industry, and you are worried about a damn mask - get a grip - let me know when you stand up for something ALL Americans can relate too.

  5. It’s a private business. They can tell you to leave for no reason. If you don’t, it’s trespassing. That IS against the law.

  6. Way to Go!! I want it all to be over - these masks are freaky. That said over the bridge where I am they won't let you go into a store without one. I tried and got sorry but we can't let you in without one.
So I ordered my Trump 2020 mask from Ms. Albero and hopefully I will receive it soon and THEN I will try to walk into a store without one. If I am stopped I will IN THEIR FACE proudly put on my Trump 2020 mask and be done with it.

  7. The problem with your idea is that the owner of the store gets to decide whether you can come in with a mask or not. It is not a law.

  8. It's over because the script said its over. We are now in the chapter regarding racism. Believe we have 6 more chapters until we revisit viruses so stay tuned and hold onto your paperwork.

Yes Rickie, not to worry. You will get your White Marlin Tourney in this year. But afterwards the year will be over and the focus will be on the elections.

    (snicker snicker)

  9. The problem 10:07 is that people are NOT dying by millions and if you look at both the CDC and Maryland website it states "The vast majority of people who test positive experience only mild symptoms or none at all. The elderly population are the most at risk." We definitely should isolate from them.
With that in mind I would appreciate not having to wear a mask. It's hot, hideous and unconstitutional.

    1. That's how you know it's BS. The people not at risk are forced to mask up and the people who are at risk have the infected forced by law into their retirement homes by STUPID governors, including RINO Hogan.

  12. I don't particularly like the mask thing. Bad guys wore bandanas in Westerns when I was a kid is one of my frames of reference. The other is Chinese wearing them because of the air pollution in their cities. Neither are happy comparisons.

OTOH, brother-in-law out of state caught the bug, probably at work. He's been inpatient since day before Easter. Finally turned the corner late last week and seems to be making very good progress. Some talk he could be discharged late next week if recovery continues. But the majority of the time he was flat on back, vented, sedated, with food line and chest line. Most of those days were very grim.

So, if you catch it and have a bad case, that could be your future, and no visitors.

And if you're a carrier, and don't know it, that could be what you do to some innocent worker or customer.

So take one for the team, and hide your ugly/handsome mug in the store.

The person who refuses to wear the mask is awake. You are asleep. Or a sheep.

  15. I keep telling you its only a suggestion not law!!!!! And a guy on WGMD radio was about to have his voting rights taken for not wearing a mask, and then they bent the rules, and if can bend rules, then it is not law!!!!! I already know there is no law and it is not law but this is just more proof it is all fake to take your rights... But hey how is being a good slave working out??

  19. Mask only stop 2%-3% of the virus. Total scare tactic. Should be an individual choice. This so-called virus has also been determined not a virus but a bacteria.

Socialist will never tell you the truth.

  20. the 1st poster, in his comment, states "if you want to get infected with a deadly virus" that is where the problem lies, the virus is at least 97% recovery rate. People believing if they breath outside they will catch covid 19 and die. Which is false. Yes, under 1% of the population has died. Truly tragic. But fear mongering is never acceptable, people who use it remind me of being a school yard bully. We don't use mask during flu season, though both virus are deadly to some.

  21. 10:32 is exactly right -- these are private businesses - Walmart-Home Depot are private - they can set any rule they want - and btw it's not much of stand when employees have been told not to confront patrons who do not want to wear a mask so way to go you really took a stand

  22. voting is over mail in voting done they will now lift the masks cause they finished what they set out to do PROVE THE MASKS WORK.. real proof YOU cant and it isnt a law to wear one

  24. So I am seeing quite a few No Mask No Service comments. What if I owned a business and had a sign that said No Fat Pigs In Yoga Pants Allowed. Would that be okay? I mean me and many other people get ill when we see that kind of gross display. I mean lets face it. If I am selling donuts or cheeseburgers i wouldn't want to be the one who sells them the meal that sets off a heart attack.

  25. Sadly, too many people here have eaten the rotten apple of the MSM lies and distortions...fear lives in your heart and you need to de-program yourself to get over this. Most of us understand what was and is going on and have pushed passed all the Lies...are choosing to LIVE life and move on without all the masks and social distancing. Get over it and move on...Will people still get sick??? Of course they will!!! Use HCQ and other supplements/drugs to get better...The same CDC whom we have relied on for all of these misguided, life-altering, life-destroying decisions :

    • They’ve been wrong about the models.
    • They’ve been wrong about the lock downs.
    • They’ve been wrong about the distance the particles travel in the air.
    • They’ve been wrong about the transmission of the virus from asymptomatic individuals.
    • They’ve been wrong about the spread of the virus on surfaces.
    • They’ve been wrong about the infection fatality rate.
    • They’ve been wrong about the dangers of the virus to children and young adults.
    • They’ve been wrong about the use of face masks.
    • They’ve been wrong in their inabilities to protect individuals in long-term care facilities.
    • They’ve been wrong in the way they’ve counted COVID-19 deaths.
    • They’ve been wrong in how they’ve classified COVID-19 cases.

    This list isn’t exhaustive.

  27. Stop crying about not wanting to wear a mask for like 5 or 10 minutes while you're in a store. How about the people who have to wear them while they work 8-10 hour shifts. Have some respect for those people and wear yours and stop complaining

  28. If you don't want to wear a mask in public fine. Businesses require shirts, shoes and forbid smoking and that is their right to do so. They are not infringing on your rights in anyway. It is their property and you are a guest more than welcome to spend your money if you abide by their rules. Go cross against the walk sign or run red lights if you feel so controlled you need to lash out.

  29. I also was in Home Depot today ( with mask on) but 2 of there employees didn't. Like not on their person at all! The one guy with a beard sits at the desk where you special order and the other was walking around with flags in hand helping forklift guy. Both of these gentlemen have beards but no mask in site!!

  30. I guess I failed to mention in the article that I had the Wuhan Flu back in mid January, so now I'm immune, can't be a carrier, so I can't infect others. Hit me like a ton of bricks, 100.1 temp the first day, 98.6 the next, then done. Many of us have had it without any symptoms at all. Tell me, when you have to navigate down your block, how difficult is it weaving around all those ambulances parked to haul the dead covid patients out of their deathbeds? Just go out and look down your street right now and send in your count!

    ReplyDelete
  31. TO all of you people who think wearing a mask is about their own "personal freedoms" being infringed upon. It is not about that at all . It is about the other person please .Give respect ,...get respect.
If you cannot "inconvenience" yourself for a few minutes then stay home
