    1. They have a business to run they're not supposed to lower their prices do keep up with your standards if you don't like their prices don't buy their products

    What location ?

  5. It's a convenience store. That's what they do. If you can't find toilet paper jump in the shower or use a wet rag and rinse it out.

  6. Every thing is high at a convenience store. This is how they market it’s not a supermarket.

    ReplyDelete
  7. Next they'll be selling bags of leaves.

    ReplyDelete
  8. Price drop! The TP was $2.19/roll.

    ReplyDelete
  9. Corn season is right around the corner 🌽

  10. I'd rather do leaves.

    ReplyDelete
  11. $1.99 per roll?

    What are they smoking crack?

    ReplyDelete
  12. That's why they call it a convenience store, Not a grocery store.

    ReplyDelete
  13. I don't get it. Are people pooping that much more, or are there some with garages full of rolls of toilet paper?

    1. People are hoarding. They only care about them self's at this point . But while they are out buying all the toilet and exposing themselves for it how they gonna use it if they are almost dead! From catching the virus while store hopping

    2. Its called price gauging. They know they didn't pay 1.00 per roll &it looks like the cheap stuff. I suggest going online & order it from Walmart

    3. Its called price gauging. Thats what the attorney general is there for. They know that cheap toilet paper didn't cost them 1.00 per roll. Thats BULL

    4. What you people dont get is the stuff comes into our stores already priced from corporate the individual stores dont price it but go ahead assume what you want as a store that is open to the public during a pandemic please by all means keep complaining and we can just discontinue it pretty much stupidly will get you no where if others weren't hoarding everything it would not be like this and we could find it af walmart so for those little families that feel entitled to three 24 packs that's the problem not a gas station that is still doing their best to help the public we had to beg and fight to even sell t.p but no by all means keep complaining we have to wear a mask and stand 9 yo 10 hours to make sure you get your slushie but hey complaining makes it so much better

  16. 5:31 they are not pooping more but they are pooping more at home. More people are working from home. Others are unemployed. The restaurants and hotels are closed, no one is traveling in airports. Etc etc etc
    Home use has increased 50%

  17. It should be cross merchandised with their chicken. They go together.

Nobody cares if you like their chicken or not you don't have to buy it or chicken is very famous and we saw a lot of it at my store you people need to get a grip I've been in so many convenience stores and there are places higher than a dollar 99 per roll because they know they can do that right now

  18. Why are stores still selling cigarettes and other tobacco products? They certainly are NOT essential items!
The answer is GREED and TAX revenue of course.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Your cigarettes are not essential for people that don't use them but for people that have a smoking habit and that is essential for them just as much as you or anyone else need him to because it's essential so that's just say it like saying that if you're addicted to food that you shouldn't have food because it's not essential come on people knock it off

  19. I tell you this I am a club member there and I will be cancelling my card and boycotting them because they also haven't lowered there Has prices.

    4. First, If you don't like the chicken, don't buy it many others do.
Second, our gas prices are right in line with others.
Third, the employees are working, standing on their feet 8 to 10 hours a day, to make sure our shelves are stocked with essentials such as bread, milk, drinks like juice as well as soda & water & eggs. God forbid we don't have that bag of gummie bears you want, they are essential though right.
Fourth, cigarettes are essential to a smoker at this critical time in our lives. For someone addicted to nicotine to be cut off would only increase their aggrivation on top of the stress put upon all of us during this pandemic.
Fifth, the employees are being treated terribley by many customers, not all of course, but many are rude, nasty, ignorant, yell & scream at us for things that are beyond our control. We did not cause this virus or any of the consequences of the virus. We are in the same pandemic you are, concerned about being infected ourselves, our families & friends the same as you Mr or Ms Customer. Treat us with the same respect you want us to show you. If your are that scared of getting sick that you treat us like we are the virus, then stay home. Don't run out to get a candy bar & slushie because you are bored.
Last but not least, who do you think it is that leaves the restrooms nasty & disgusting? The CUSTOMERS that use them. We inspect & clean our restrooms on a regular basis. We use the same restrooms as well as are forced to clean & sanitize them. Anyone that thinks it is the employees that leave the mess is crazy out of their mind. I won't be gross & tell of the things I have been forced to clean but I could make your skin crawl by describing what people do in a public restroom that has been provided for their convenience & comfort. Why do they do it? Are they proud of themselves?
By the way, policy in all the Royal Farms Stores is set by the corporate office not the individual stores. Prices are are also set by the corporate office through what ever negotiations between them & vendors not individual stores. The employees must follow all policies & pricing set forth by the corporate office.

  22. Free market, it is called supply and demand. What are you going to do? Are you going to die if you can't wipe your ass? :)

Don't like the price, don't buy the product. It is that simple. That's what a free market capitalist system is. You vote with your pocketbook.

The good side is, if nobody is buying their product, then they will have to lower their prices or go out of business because of no sales.

The socialist side is, that the government dictates the price of a product. If the people can't buy it they don't buy it, if they don't buy it the producer won't make it because they are not making enough money off of it to stay alive in business and so they go out of business. Then there's no product to sell at a profit and then there is nothing on the store shelves to sell at any price.

And that is exactly what happens in socialism. Big promises, empty shelves.

  32. So many people when all this started happening ran out and bought up all the TP and Paper Towels...basically hoarders! Now the hoarders are buying up all the meats only thinking about
themselves. It is sad that someone would have to pay 1.99 for a roll of TP and 3.98 for a small box
of kleenex....but once again...thanks to all the hoarders!!

  37. My pharmacy had 8 oz bottles of hand sanatizer with a hand written sign that said $17.99 each. I posted it on social meadow with a lot of discussion and people saying to report them. The next day the sign was taken down but the other hand written signs stayed up. Hand sanitizer is only worth about a dollar and that was an outrageous mark up. I no longer use that pharmacy.

  40. The Bottom line is people have got to Grip about something! So why not TOLIET PAPER!MY OLE MY WHAT WOULD MR.WHIPPEL SAY? "He would say -Just pay for it and by the way -PLEASE DON'T SQUEEZE THE CHAIRMAN."

    ReplyDelete
  41. So.....as someone who is actually an employee at a RoFo....ever think that because of everyone buying the toilet paper out and hoarding we couldn't get it in either? We were getting drops of whatever the company could order in from whomever for whatever the cost was for us to get it on our shelves. And we paid an ridiculous price for it in the first place to have it for sale....because we are not a medical/government/grocery store we do not have first dibs on any supplies like that. Yeah my store did have those rolls. Yeah they were pricey. Because it cost the company stupid money for single rolls of cottonelle. When we are able to get more reasonable priced things in, we do. I have a 4pack we just got in selling for like 1.99 right now.....does nobody on this page know basic supply and demand.....

    ReplyDelete
  42. Im a employee off rofo in Georgetown de the only store who is opened after 9pm for the last what 2 months ... toilet paper shortage at Walmart right across the street but anyway I walked around the store last night and there was other options on tp 4 pack 1.99 but when has Kleenex been cheap it's always been pricey too me .. but is anyone talking about Walmart who's eggs 60 cut was 5.97 then I watched the price jump from that all the way to 20 dollars the dozen eggs 1.48 6 14 come on now... alot of stores have been doing that buy royal farms the only store that is opened haven't Changed our hrs have been making adjustments to helping the community taking our chicken and putting them in the g2g soo now its ebt eligible... family meals all that smh a little pricey toilet paper causes this much

    ReplyDelete
  43. Prices need to rise when demand rises or you have people who hoard

    ReplyDelete
  44. With some of the language from a lot of responders need all the TP they can get. They need to wipe more than their posterior.

    ReplyDelete
  45. I am a employee at a rofo you want to complain about the t.p well if your fellow people were not hoarding it you would not have to get gas station paper they come as a set price the people in store do not put a price on them at first we did not have t.p ,hand sanitizer,or paper towels some stores even had hand sanitizer things stuck to the wall for your convenience and health and still yall complain if you can find t.p else where by all means go for it we deal everyday with people who complain about wearing a mask we have to wear them our whole shift to be there to serve customers tend to ur needs if you do not like anything about our stores please by all means dont come in there's McDonalds or Wendy's oop nope closed except for drive thru to think we are there to listen to yalls complaints all day yea nope we are here to serve people so if we are not up to your entitled attitude there's other places to go ....hopefully

    ReplyDelete
  46. And there you go: No price controls, and no shortages. That's how it works, Basic supply and demand that many socialist minds can't understand.

    ReplyDelete
  47. I work for rofo and im reading all this and cant help but laugh at the people complaining about the prices i mean we don't set them but i will say one thing with all this going on why dont people understand essential travel dosnt mean come into the store 3 times a day for candy and ice cream. I mean fuckin hell stay the fuck home. Of its not needed.
