Oh hell yes this is a massive risk! Like so many other local businesses we too are taking a HUGE risk spending tens of thousands of dollars to bring back that Caribbean look/feel with our fingers crossed that we can do some kind of business this year. What's done is done but every business in OC needs all of you to send a message to Governor Hogan, OPEN UP MARYLAND!
Open all restaurants. Even those with inside seating. This lockdown is unconstitutional. Let each person decide what risk they are willing to take. Businesses are not in business to keep you safe.
Any of those green tree frogs arrive with the palm trees? I love those little things. So cute and so vocal. One or 2 always take up residence on my back porch in the summer. Last year we had a few babies. They aren't native to MD but are here now because of the palm trees being brought up for down south for years now.
Give the citizens back their right to choose. It's same principle as cigarettes (cancer), drugs/alcohol and especially the ridiculous sexual mischief most of these liberal idiots think is ok. Look at all the garbage Jake day is promoting (paying for with taxpayers money) prior to this pandemic. He literally is behind any/all left wing sexual lunacy(same sex, transgender and the ridiculous drag queen pageant nonsense).
11:57, As I stated from the beginning, we are in a different financial position then most and I didn't want to compete against other local restaurants. Keep in mind, Most restaurants on the Shore are only doing 4 to 10% of their NORMAL business with carry out. It truly wasn't worth it anyway to stock all that food with a very limited menu.
Just like the Kevin Costner film - Field of Dreams - Plant it and they'll come. Good luck Joe - IMHO this self isolation is now way over done. In all my years of living on this planet - I have never seen a virus survive summer temps. and ultra violet summer light.
