Maryland Fishing Report

With the allowance of additional outdoor recreation under the governor’s stay at home order, we can enjoy fishing as long as we follow social distancing guidelines.

White perch are done with spawning and are moving toward their summer locations.

Starting on May 16, the size and bag limit for striped bass in the Chesapeake Bay and its tributaries (excluding the Susquehanna Flats) will be one fish per person, per day, with a minimum size of 19 inches. On the Susquehanna Flats, the limit will be one fish between 19-26 inches.

  1. commercial guys are allowed to rape the bay and you recreational guys are f'd! DNR Hogan and the rest of the brownshirts have made sure your children will never have the opportunity to catch one of these fish!

  2. I wish the DNR would get off their lazy asses and clean up their site. They have a mess of outdated crap on there you have to sift thru , and then it still not clear on the regulations.

    1. They do it on purpose so that the gray areas get you a fine to pay for the fleet of boats and trucks.
