  1. Roy Lester is still alive? He was a great high school coach. Couldn't get the talent at UM. Penn St seem to get all of the good ones back then.

  2. He is right that immunity is the only way to beat this virus, but the problem is that if things open back up, everyone will get sick at the same time and we will run out of hospital beds. The whole point of shutting everything down was not to beat the virus but to slow the spread so that we could handle it.

      Stop believing the government

    2. 8:15- You're an idiot. I believe in data. The gov't is not making up the almost 60,000 deaths in 2 months.

    3. States are starting to backtrack on the amount of actual coronavirus deaths... doctors and coroners are pressured to list cause of death as covid-19 for way too many deaths that are not actually caused by it.

  3. This man speaks common sense. The virus is out in the wild and we cannot hide in our basements forever.

  4. They are saying people are not building up immunity. They are not sure yet. (How can they not know) If this is true, and you can get it again and again, this is worst case for this virus and also means there is no shot to help. For the ones who are sick in the hospital, they will have permanent damage. Issues with lungs, kidney's, liver and heart. I do think this is terrible and our economy is already in major trouble. But so is human life if this virus can't be stopped.

  6. 7:06 AM, you don't really believe that do you?

  7. 7:06. We are being lied to. Yes, there is a virus and but the numbers out of NYC don’t jive. We cannot continue to decimate the economy because of this. Open it back up. If you are over 65 stay home as to not overwhelm the hospitals. Everyone else back to work.

    1. What would the numbers be if we had not slowed down the economy? There are plenty of people that are staying home and following orders and none of them are sick that I know. I do know people here locally that are sick. They are the people still working in fast food, chicken plants etc. Let's watch these states that just opened back up. Give them three weeks and see. The biggest mistake they made with the Spanish flu was opening everything back up.

  8. 7:06 so how long do you think we should continue to destroy the united states, land of the free home of the brave - last year over 400,000 were hospitalized for the flu and you did not hear a peep

  10. look at history and see how well people built up immunities to the measles, Sars, or the black death after just a few months...dumb-ass....real immunity and mitigation takes decades to centuries in most societies...unless you get a vaccine....which is well more than a year away if we're lucky....dumbass...

Funny how the medical experts have been so wrong.

    I'll go with common sense.

  12. For those of us who are 50-60 plus - We had same thing with measles and chickenpox. If one of your family got it, your mom made sure you all stayed home and got it! This way everyone got it done and over with, as soon as they could.

    1. This virus isn't anything like chicken pox or the measles. It took from the 3rd century to 1796 to create a vaccine for smallpox. Smallpox wasn't eradicated until 1977. They were not a created virus to cause death. They did not attack the blood, cause heart attacks and destroy your organs. Also, immunity was a given. This virus not one person has proven we even build an immunity to it. (Which this question should have an answer by now) As much as I would like the economy to open ASAP as I have lost my income, I also don't want my kids to die so I can make min. wage and barely pay my bills. I think we need to watch these other states for the next 3 weeks and see what their numbers do. The economy was on the brink anyway. Until we stop creating money and bailing out the big guys, we are screwed. All the created money could have paid off every single mortgage in this country. It's a big game. We lose. You lose, I lose. It's over.

  13. LOL bwahaha. People please. STOP STOP STOP acting like somehow, because you saw a documentary and read an article or two, that you should be lobbing your uninformed opinion into the mix. Yes speak up about your challenges and the impact to your business or other interests. But spreading your doofus claims about immunity and epidemiology as if you have anywhere near the level of expertise as the professionals currently making the decisions.

  14. Yes 8:33, some even had measles "parties" for the whole neighborhoods!

Strange how science has gone backwards.

  15. @7:43. Instead of saying we are being lied too and that numbers dont jive why dont you explain why they dont jive. Dont just act like a sheep and believe everything you hear. Support it with facts.

  16. 8:38 the so called experts lied to us from the beginning. Told us it couldn’t be transmitted from human to human, yes you can go on a cruise, no you don’t need a mask because they are dangerous. Keep on listening to the CDC and WHO. Stop being an ill informed sheep.

  17. Right on -open her up --pedal to the metal! If Obama was pres this would be like the sars epidemic where 38K people died and millions had it before the CDC even acknowledged there was a problem and they sure as hell didnt stop the economy then !

  20. Never heard of a vaccine? I have an idea, lets stop vaccinating everybody, and let everyone get the diseases. That way the people that are not immune, the old, the infirm, will die. Sure would save on social security and medicare expenses.

  21. I'm 0ver 65. I'll be glad to stay home, as long as you pay more taxes to put money in my pocket that I'll lose by not working. And I'm not going out in this current situation, so, yes you can pay for me to stay home.
But you or many will get the virus and we will be right back where we started doing it your way.
