My opinion Jake you should have been leading salisbury with a more disciplined approach because that raining day is here to stay for awhile

ReplyDeletePlease post this video that was recently published by "Salisbury's Finest" on their Facebook page. It's their "annual video," whatever the Hell that means?? "And thank you to all of the men and women of the SFD for their bravery and hard work." WTH is that supposed to mean? You get paid big bucks to come in and sleep all night and you call that bravery and hard work? There are hardly any fires but you want to thank yourselves for all of your bravery and hard work? Is that some kind of joke or something??
Where are all the EMS calls in the video? 97% of the call volume is EMS and the fire trucks chasing ambulance calls just to get there and say "Look at me, Look at me! I'm in charge, look at me." Where are the thanks to all the paid paramedics that run calls all night why most of the paid firemen stay in the station and sleep all night? Where is the thanks for their bravery and hard work? If it wasn't for EMS you paid fireman couldn't justify your damn calls! You post videos of a few minor fire calls as if you run a lot of fire calls and you DON'T! You've got some of the public thinking you are "brave and work hard" every single day and most of us no that is FALSE! What happened to the volunteers? Oh, that's right, John Tull, Darrin Scott, Jimmy Gladwell, Rick Hoppes and Jake Day worked hard to get rid of them. That is the only hard work display at the Salisbury Fire Department. This is nothing but a video to make the public think that the fire crews run on large structure fires every day and that is FALSE! These clowns are non-essential and need to be shut down at 5 pm every night.
And look who worked on the video. Brady Scott, son of Deputy Chief Darrin Scott. Shall I remind you that Darrin Scott is the paid Deputy Chief that was in charge of Hiring, Testing, and Promotions in the Salisbury Fire Department? Can you say NEPOTISM! And Nepotism doesn't just end with Darrin Scott, does it?

ReplyDeleteA lot of people made Day promises they aren’t going to be able to keep— promises to develop land they were GIVEN, promises to fill the storefronts, promises to hire people, promises to draw people to his Utopia. That’s when things will fall apart, when the promises are broken. He overspent and built a “city of cards” based on promises. Now, once again, Salisbury will be left with nothing but broken promises.
