In solidarity with other parents, this mother's hilarious prayer speaks on the pains of being plunged into the role of homeschool teacher as schools across America continue to shut down for the year amid the Coronavirus pandemic.

Let us pray...

  1. If the government is going to continue to teach our kids, it's time that the parents had better information on curricula. Frankly, beyond the name of the class, we don't know squat.

  2. I was on Parkside High School’s webpage and read the Important Message asking teachers and students to respond to a survey asking for information about home schooling needs during the state wide, schools closed order. Sadly, the survey has only generated an 18% return rate. It on the website.

  5. I said the same thing 3:06, and some Wicomico county educator blasted me saying that the kids don't want to learn and most have parents that won't make them do anything. I guess that says a lot. Delmar Elementary gave my little boy a nice packet (kindergarten) and I heard that the high school has boxes set up for kids to get class info. I am not sure what the other schools have done, though.

I will say that the school facebook pages are doing a great job keeping in touch with kids. They are posting weekly challenges and fun activities that kids can do with the parents to keep engaged. It might not be in line with curriculum but its nice to see that the kids aren't shut off from their school and classmates. My little one really misses his friends

  6. The level of abject ignorance in the country is astounding. We are so close to a third world country simply by virtue of the percentage of adult morons.
