A Viewer Writes: Heard from State Employee State to Shut down?

Joe, I heard a State employee say the State was getting ready to
shut down by First of the week, with only absolutely essential places open.

Said he'd received notice today . Has anyone else heard this?

    Just rumors of a shutdown. . . nothing more. I wish they would go ahead and do it.

    Illinois has a shelter in place mandate as of Saturday and Louisiana just mandated one, Ohio has issued also

      4:29 apparently not as stupid as you. Maryland still has NOT mandated this.. like I said I eish they would go ahead and mandate this to prevent any more casualties.

    I have a relative that said she was told starting Monday it's a partial shut down only working 3 days this week

    Why are the dpscs employees at eci not getting paid emergency pay?? See how many show this week. Declare state of emergency and eci staff report as usual and spread the virus with our family and community. What do you think Walter west warden eci??? Or are u afraid of making a decision that the administration will not support. Your job over your staff saftey????

    Shelter in place is not the correct term. Shelter in place means you can not leave your house for any reason. Used for active shooters etc. for short periods of time.
    Not all businesses will be closed.

    methadone won't shut down. Hundreds and hundreds of sick addicts packing one tiny place in Salisbury. A virus breeding ground. Staff forced to work or lose their job. Staff gets infected from patient's and carry it home and around the community. patients made to risk their lives because greedy owners will not close like local health dept. did. Patients come in even when sick. Close that place now.

    Worked with Warden West for many years. He is a first class individual and goes out of his way to be fair to everyone.
