BALTIMORE (WBFF) - 82 people tested positive for the flu on a Royal Caribbean cruise ship back to Baltimore.
According to officials with the cruise line, on the February 8-20 voyage of Grandeur of the Seas, medical staff let the CDC know that dozens of guests and crew had flu-like illness or tested positive for influenza A or B and were placed in isolation.
None of the 82 patients met the CDC criteria as a person under investigation for the CDC.

DeleteYet limiting air travel is somehow a bad idea. Every person on that ship caught the flu because of a single carrier, either passenger or crew.

Because they are fun, economical, get to see different places, people, cultures, and to get away from cold weather. How's that?
And bring back infectious diseases. If you wanna go to those places you should do us all a favor and stay there!

I probably had similar views UNTIL I actually went on a cruise. I had a blast. But now I stick to cruises that are 10 days or less. I prefer the 7-day cruises. I tend to get bored with longer ones.
nothing like floating around in a petri dish of scumbags on the ocean. trapped with no where to retreat to. All it takes is for one foul human to pass their diseases around to everyone! and you gladly pay for this! Now that's to damn funny!
