It's usually torn up somewhere on it with road construction and they drive like maniacs on that road. I avoid it and drive through Da Bury as much as I hate to, with the torn up streets, orange barrels, cones, pot holes, you name it, but at least if I'm in an accident I figure my chances are better than one on the bypass involving a 90 MPH accident.
6:41-- I'm 76 and a much better driver than most I see on the road.I drive the speed limit or 5 over in the right lane except for passing and I always signal when turning or passing. A 18 year old good driving bank robbing punk nearly killed me 19 years ago running away from his mother who was chasing him so age does not necessarily define competence in driving. I see idiots of all ages driving.I do agree with a 5 year license renewal after age 75.Remember the old 65 is now the new 75 or 80.
Shoot
ReplyDeleteI was doing 80 on Route 13 bypass, and folks were tailgating, riding my bumper, blowing horns...
Route 13 bypass is a rush to drive on dude
That's why I stay off of it.
DeleteDitto! Those people are crazy on the by pass, havent used it in years.
DeleteThank God none of the Basketball team members and other children or staff got hurt!

ReplyDeleteLike I always say. After 70, maybe 75 people need to be ROAD tested for their drivers license once a year.
ReplyDeleteWhy wasn't the 25 or 20 yr. old driving?
