Montana GOP lawmaker claims the US Constitution says it's okay to SHOOT socialists and calls them 'enemies of the free state'

A Montana state GOP lawmaker said that he believes the US Constitution calls for people who identify as socialists to be jailed or shot.

State Rep. Rodney Garcia made the comment at a state party gathering in Helena, Montana, Friday, after former interior secretary Ryan Zinke spoke at the election season kickoff event.

Garcia said that he was worried about socialists 'entering our government' and being 'everywhere' in Billings - the city he represents - the Billings Gazette reported.

  3. They go against our founding document. They wish to enslave us rip up the constitution and takeover everything. So in effect they are a enemy of the people. Traitors to america and all it stands for.

  4. Our constitution has provisions incompatible with socialism. For one to be socialist in this country, one has to be for overthrowing the constitution, and replacing it with a socialist one. Openly trying to overthrow the constitution is the very definition of treason in this country. They ARE enemies of the US government and it's founding documents. Technically, I agree with Rep. Garcia, but right now socialism is just an opinion that is protected under free speech, ironically in the same document they want to overthrow. When the socialists start to actively call for the overthrow of the government, then yes, the "people" will have to rise up and protect our country and our constitution.
