Jussie Smollett has been indicted by a special prosecutor in Chicago, nearly a year after the charges against him over an alleged hoax attack were dropped.
Fox 32 reports special prosecutor Dan Webb brought charges against Smollett on Tuesday. It is not clear what those charges are but he is due in court on February 24.
Authorities are yet to confirm the indictment.
It is now more than a year since Smollett claimed he was attacked at 2am in Chicago on January 29 while out getting a sandwich.

ReplyDeleteBye bye ghetto thug.
ReplyDeleteHe was indicted by local authorities, nothing will happen. If it was the feds he might be in some trouble.
ReplyDeleteNot true a special DA was doing the investigation he is Toast.
DeleteThis swampy mess of Smollett hiring two friends to beat him up and claim it was a white racist who beat him up was a cry for more 15 min of fame more than he was getting on the TV show he was on at the time. He should be tried and convicted to jail he is the racist just wanting attention, and hopefully he will never do any other shows or become the STAR he wants to be.
ReplyDeleteIt was a "Hate Crime" !!!!
DeleteWhy are the Obozo/Hil-liar-y voters treated differently than everyone else...
ReplyDeleteHe will be so excited and happy to be convicted, after all he loves playing the "Woman" in real life so prison will be a hoot!
ReplyDeleteLOCK THIS RACE BAITING POS THUG UP FOR AT LEAST ONE YEAR..HE could have caused deaths all over the USA with his bs and lies.

It seems you have a low opinion of 'local authorities'.
Everybody has a low opinion of local “authorities”
DeleteSmollett's lawyers are going to clog the system with record subpoenas, including complaints against and disciplinary record of at least 45 officers and staff. This is the OJ defense, where instead of proving innocence of the accuse, the accusers are relentlessly attacked.
ReplyDeleteIt's similar to what the Dem impeachment team did in Congress, isn't it?
