It has been reported that the large influx of new cases yesterday is due to a change in the manner in which diagnoses are being made. That being said, these are still legitimate cases that would have been reported earlier if the new classification procedures had been in place. However, it does not mean that there was a rapid expansion of the disease yesterday.
