Almost 10 minutes on the scene for a serious call, What The HELL! But crime is down in Salisbury. Remember that when you go to the polls in November to vote for a new Mayor!!
Almost 10 minutes on a scene ? What's ur point ? They are trying to stabilize the pt Fool.
ReplyDeleteYes, how long do emergency personnel need to stay at the scene after the ambulance has responded and taken the victim to the hospital ?
DeletePatient was transported as a priority one patient. Fire department was called back after dawn to clean the street.
ReplyDeleteWhat's the complaint? Responders are on-scene within two minutes in the dead of night in a nasty neighborhood and work it for up to ten minutes, then the site command is terminated once the ambulance doors are closed and the vehicle is moving. Gunshot victims require individualized care and resuscitation, not just "put pressure here and load 'em up."
ReplyDeleteThe boy mayor is too busy ruining streets and snarling traffic due to his bike lanes. He is too busy getting ready for his National Folk Festival. He is too busy rubbing elbows with the powers at Salisbury University, Veteran Builders, Gillis/Gilkerson and Devreco. He is too busy supporting LGBTQ flag raising and street painting events. He is just way too busy to worry about crime.
ReplyDeleteTurn off the scanner and get some sleep !!
ReplyDeleteArmchair fireman / paramedic ....
Yes, go to bed bed unless you help the situation
DeleteYeah, what the heck is your point? Sounds like emergency responders did their jobs.
ReplyDeleteAhh the good old Baker and Anne street section of the ghetto Salisbury MD. Ok let's take a closer look at the situation isn't this less than a 1/4 mile down church street to Jake day's illustrious mural painting? Then you cross over route 13 you have his downtown folk festival grounds!! Jake day every day that passes you prove you don't Know your ass from third base. Like they say build it and they will come. Keep building section 8 project housing and your cirizeo just keep getting better and better

ReplyDeleteAnne st and Baker st don’t even intersect.
ReplyDeleteThere def needs to be a stoplight there with bike lane signals and that awesome loud buzz noise for all the blind pedestrians (like college n Camden)
DeleteThe polls ?
ReplyDeleteThis town has been infected with cancer , as know cancer is not curable.
I am talking about political cancer . This democratic cancer in da bury started many years ago especially when Ireton was elected . Between Day and Ireton it will take years to find a cure . Good luck with your town , you are gonna need a lot of luck . A queer for mayor and an idiot who loves spending your money.
The point I think about the blog is we had another shooting in Salisbury and everyone needs to start writing them down on your calendar to see how your figures match those of our Chief of Police Duncan ( which are never accurate) then you know the real counts on serious crimes monthly. The second point should be hope the patient made it. The 3rd point is hell yes we need a new mayor and remember that in the upcoming election. Wayne King's one main points is getting crime down.
ReplyDeleteI call BS. I had a medical emergency in the middle of the night and it took more than 10 min to get to me. And I have in’s and live in a decent area.
ReplyDelete1:24 10 minutes, not too bad really, decent area or not. You don't get quicker response time just because you live in a "decent" area and have "ins". You're not special as you think you are
Delete4:41pm....couldn't agree more. Well done. How is 10 minutes a long time?
DeleteLEOs/first responders did their job. Stop your agitating and turn that frown upside down Mr. 10 minutes.

I believe it's called "Load and Go" you little Jerk Off Farmin from da Ghetto'Bury. Plus Baker Street is just a couple of blocks from the local Trauma Center, let the experts stabilize the patient, Fool!
And if you had a clue about prehospital emergency medicine you station 13 reject:
DeleteA. You would be running your own calls right now instead of masquerading around as a bingo hall dressed as a fire department.
B. You would know that combat medicine, and trauma specialists all over the world have PROVEN that load and go is actually more harmful to the pt than treating those immediate threats to their lives.

Boy these Jake Day loving paid Salisbury Farmin are definitely in Damage Control Mode today!
Hey Joe, here is a question for you.
ReplyDeleteDo you think paid Salisbury Fire Department employees should be placing Jake Day for Mayor campaign signs in their yards?
What do the taxpayers think about this practice?
Hey dumba** what does it matter? It’s called freedom of speech and it’s no different than county employees with their Culver signs, or state employees with Hogan. Pull your bottom lip over your head and swallow.
DeleteSalisbury firefighters just endorsed Day. Theyve got shirts and stickers and mailers and everything. I wonder what he did to make them do that.
DeleteJim Ireton started that tired mantra "Crime is down" in Salisbury and now Gay Day is carrying the torch.
ReplyDeleteI bet this will show up on the crime alert pages as an "Assault." Keep an eye out on the day and times, Folks.
What in the name of sanity has this to do with the mayor? Blaming city government for the actions of one or more drug-fueled, bad blood idiots just off the nasty end of Church Street is pointless. No public official can be held responsible for random stupidity here, nor can any wannabe public official ever deliver on a promise to prevent such isolated acts; it's been promised over and over.
ReplyDeleteAs for the response time, nice work, SFD.
Ok just checked shootings & Burglaries for 8/1-8/15 in addition to the above 8/18/19--- They are SHOOTINGS: 8/3 7900 Bennett Pk Dr.
ReplyDeleteSHOOTING 8/7 Stoney Brook Dr.
SHOOTING 8/9 7300 Jake St.
SHOOTING 8/11 1600 Waconia Dr.
BURGLARY 8/4 400 S Kaywood Dr.
BURGLARY 8/8 700 East Rd.
I believe all of the above are including in #1 crimes
Those are ALL county properties, are not in the city, and the county classifies ever “I heard a gunshot” call a shooting. Lay off the sauce detective...
DeleteThose are all crimes. But none are in Salisbury.
Delete3:27 AM????? what in the hell is ANYone doing out at 3:27?
ReplyDeleteEspecially in sby!!!
DeleteMore proof that you need to arm yourself and take care of the problem on your own, cuz you are on your own!
ReplyDeleteKiller stabs you, you bleed out before cops arrive.
Rapist grabs you, he is done and gone before cops arrive.
Burglar enters the home, TV and other stuff gone before cops show up.
Gang enters your home and shoots you and the kids, all die and could be hours or days before the cops bother to show up!
Mayb he though he could catch the train on the mural at the end on Church St & 13. Need to make it real and add couple of Thugs w Guns to the mural.
ReplyDeleteLike that mural suggestion!
DeleteMe too 6:31
Delete@1:56 it has everything to do with Jake day and his inabilities to properly run a city municipality. You promote welfare and government entitlement agendas this is what your city becomes. Homeless people taking showers out by your county library and shootings and drug infestations

Exactly, Prehospital Trauma Life Support teaches Load and Go, not Stay and Play. This is what happens when you have an EMS Department ran by firemen. Stabilization is done on scene.

Actually they weren't on scene within 2 minutes. Your comprehension skills are lacking. They each carry a radio to bed with them and when they get dispatched and they finally wake up they key the mic and say they are "responding" as they are taking their pajamas off and putting their work clothes back on.
It took them over 4 minutes to get to the scene and the station is only a block away.
And in that response time was the time they marked up as “responding” and had to remain staged at the firehouse until SPD said the scene was secure. It’s called dual dispatch, and the FD can’t just run in to a shooting scene. For sh*ts sake use some common sense.

Of course they are going to support the Clown, Jake Day. Jake Day allows the paid firemen to sleep all night and get paid. I hope Jake Day loses his race because this is a pathetic way to run business. We can do better than this, Ladies and Gentleman!
Did the patient live or die??
ReplyDeleteWho cares? This is about the mayor race, apparently.
Delete8:19 died, bleed to death while waiting.
ReplyDeleteNo the patient did not. The patients bleeding was controlled, his heart was beating again, and he made it to surgery. So what day you now? Maybe you station 13 rejects should leave the EMS to the professionals.
DeleteO-76, did someone yell BINGO?
Anybody know what happened near Brookridge tonight? At least 30+ patrol cars in open field off Brittingham St.
ReplyDeleteUnbelievable how Jake day keeps pouring time and resources into this percentage of Salisbury citizens only to get the same old bullshit results

ReplyDelete8:19 died, bleed to death while waiting.
August 18, 2019 at 8:52 PM
Funny, but not so funny.
This bullshit telling the paramedics to "stage" means that the patient is going to bleed longer. Most criminals that break the law and cause harm such as shooting their fellow man run like Hell because they don't want to be arrested. When was the last time you ever heard of the person that shot the patient hanging around for the police to show up? When was the last time you heard an EMS provider getting shot by the person that shot the patient? You don't hear of it so this "staging" bullshit is killing people. The only time EMS should stage if it is an active shooter situation because that shooter typically knows he is going to die anyway. This isn't the case in these Salisbury dispatches.
When was the last time you heard of a shooting in Allen, Powellville, Sharptown, Mardela?
ReplyDeleteRarely do you hear of a shooting in those locations so we know that Salisbury is a Sh!thole that keeps electing Democrats and the Sh!thole Salisbury keeps getting worse.
Time to start voting for Republicans.
*Sidenote: Manure Bota is not a Republican.

This shooting happened Saturday night, where the Hell is the Press Release from the City??
ReplyDeleteSomething tells me that Jake Day sent a memo to the Police and Fire Chief's that no press releases or discussion on their social media pages are to happen when shootings, stabbings and murders occur in the city limits. I just checked Instagram, Facebook and Twitter and there is no mention of this incident what so ever.
Hmmmm.... Must be an election coming up.

I think you are on to something. Jake Day wants people to think that crime is down under his watch and unfortunately, some idiots will believe him and vote blindly for him anyway.
Does anyone have a list of the total number of shootings in Salisbury?
ReplyDeleteHow about the number of Assaults in da 'Bury?
Crime is not down in Salisbury, people and Jake Day is not doing great things for Salisbury.
