Caravan Of Liberal Americans Makes Way Toward Socialist Paradise Of Venezuela
MEXICO—A migrant caravan full of leftists desiring to enter the socialist paradise of Venezuela departed the United States Thursday and began marching toward through Mexico, stating they will demand asylum so they might experience the far better life that socialism offers.
The migrants claim they are leaving America because of its high standards of living, strong economy, and record employment numbers, and hope to find a better life in Venezuela's much more equitable system.
"Everyone there has the same quantity of possessions and food," said one marcher. "Everyone makes millions of dollars, and very few people work. It's a real paradise." The refugees have complex motivations, but the vast majority simply want to see everything socialism has to offer after suffering the amazing benefits of capitalism for too long.

Taking Blood Pressure Meds in Morning Increases Danger of Dying
Taking blood pressure medications at bedtime rather than in the morning nearly halves the risk of dying from a heart attack, stroke, or heart failure, a large, new study finds.
Researchers in Spain followed more than 19,000 adults with high blood pressure. They found people who took all their blood pressure meds at night had lower blood pressure around the clock compared to volunteers who took their medication in the morning.
"The findings are highly consistent regardless of sex, age, presence of diabetes or kidney disease, and other major known factors of increased risk," said study lead author Ramon Hermida.

"Absolutely Horrendous": All 39 Dead Found By UK Police In Back Of Truck Were Chinese Nationals
More than 24 hours have passed since Essex police were called to investigate a container truck with 39 dead bodies inside, including one victim believed to be a teenager. And while police have been tight-lipped, some new information trickled out on Thursday.
British media reported that all of the dead found in the truck were Chinese nationals, according to the BBC. The truck in which they were traveling was refrigerated. Temperatures in these types of trucks can get as low as -25 degrees Celcius, prompting some to speculate that the cooling system may have been turned on accidentally.
Richard Burnett, chief executive of the Road Haulage Association, said conditions for anyone inside the truck were "absolutely horrendous."

Indian Wanting Coffee
An Indian walks into a cafe with a shotgun in one hand and pulling a male buffalo with the other.
He says to the waiter:
"Want coffee."
The waiter says, "Sure Chief. Coming right up."
He gets the Indian a tall mug of coffee.....
The Indian drinks the coffee down in one gulp, turns and blasts the buffalo with the shotgun, causing parts of the animal to splatter everywhere and then just walks out.
The next morning the Indian returns.
He has his shotgun in one hand, pulling
Another male buffalo with the other.
He walks up to the counter and says to the waiter:
"Want coffee."
The waiter says, "Whoa, Tonto!
We're still cleaning up your mess from yesterday.
What was all that about, anyway?"
The Indian smiles and proudly says,
"Training for position in United States Congress.
Come in, drink coffee, shoot the bull, leave mess for others to clean up, Disappear for rest of day."

Iowa Poll: Joe Biden Flops to Fourth Place
Former Vice President Joe Biden (D) has flopped to fourth place in Iowa, according to a Civiqs survey released on Wednesday.
While there has been significant fluctuation in national polling data in recent days, Biden’s fall in the Hawkeye State appears to be consistent with the overall trend.
According to the survey, taken October 18-22, 2019, among 598 likely Democratic Caucus attendees, Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) is leading the pack with 28 percent support – a four-point jump from last month’s results. Mayor Pete Buttigieg (D) jumped to second place with 20 percent support, marking a seven-point jump for the South Bend mayor. Buttigieg’s spike coincides with the Suffolk University/USA Today poll released Monday, which showed the presidential hopeful rising to third place with 13 percent support among the crowded field of candidates.

THE PERCENTAGE OF CHRISTIANS IN AMERICA HAS HIT AN ALL-TIME LOW
The decline of the Christian faith in the United States continues to accelerate, and the latest numbers that we just got are absolutely staggering.
Most European countries are already considered to be “post-Christian” nations, and the U.S. appears to be headed down the exact same path. But when America was originally founded, it is estimated that 98 percent of the colonists were Christians. The Christian faith played a critical role in the development of our form of government, and down throughout history every generation of Americans was overwhelmingly Christian. But now things are changing in a major way. According to a brand new survey that was just released by the Pew Research Center, only 65 percent of Americans now consider themselves to be “Christians”, and that represents the lowest level ever recorded…

The religious landscape of the United States continues to change at a rapid clip. In Pew Research Center telephone surveys conducted in 2018 and 2019, 65% of American adults describe themselves as Christians when asked about their religion, down 12 percentage points over the past decade. Meanwhile, the religiously unaffiliated share of the population, consisting of people who describe their religious identity as atheist, agnostic or “nothing in particular,” now stands at 26%, up from 17% in 2009.More
Police officers are rejecting Beto O’Rourke’s gun control authoritarianism
If the federal government were to attempt an overtly unconstitutional gun control overreach, which side would the police take? We just got our answer loud and clear — and it's music to the ears of liberty-lovers across this country.
The police are an integral part of the communities they serve. They represent both the community and the government, a duality unknown in almost any other institution. Their role is simple: protect rights and keep the peace. This vital duty, one of the few true core functions of government, derives its effectiveness from the trust of the community, which sees police officers as their protectors. And that’s how it should be.
In a Tuesday morning appearance on Fox and Friends, the Fraternal Order of Police National Vice President Joe Gamaldi illustrated this in a stunning rebuke of Beto O’Rourke’s plan to use law enforcement to confiscate lawfully-purchased firearms. Gamaldi stated “At a time when everyone is asking us to bridge the gap with the community, his brilliant idea to connect with our citizens is to go door to door and seize their property? It’s completely ridiculous.”

Trump-Haters, Not Trump, Are The Ones Wrecking America's Institutions, WSJ's Strassel Says
The anti-Trump “Resistance” has devastated core American institutions and broken longstanding political norms in seeking to defeat and now oust from office President Donald Trump, said Kimberley Strassel, a columnist for the Wall Street Journal and member of the Journal’s editorial board.
More
“And this, to me, is the irony, right? We’ve been told for three years that Donald Trump is wrecking institutions,” Strassel said in an interview with The Epoch Times for the “American Thought Leaders” program.
“But in terms of real wreckage to institutions, it’s not on Donald Trump that public faith in the FBI and the Department of Justice has precipitously fallen. That’s because of Jim Comey and Andy McCabe. It’s not on Donald Trump that the Senate confirmation process for the Supreme Court is in ashes after what happened to Brett Kavanaugh. It’s not on Donald Trump that we are turning impeachment into a partisan political tool.”The damage inflicted by the anti-Trump Resistance is the subject of Strassel’s new book, “Resistance (At All Costs): How Trump Haters Are Breaking America.”

Secret Service questioned Eminem over 'threatening lyrics' about the Trumps
Documents confirm the Secret Service interviewed Eminem to investigate “threatening lyrics” about President Trump used in 2017.
During the BET Hip Hop Awards in 2017, Eminem dove into a freestyle rap blasting the president and calling him a “kamikaze that will probably cause a nuclear holocaust.” Later in 2017, he released the song Revival, which included lyrics that described Ivanka Trump being murdered in the back of his car.
In Eminem’s 2018 Kamikaze album, he included the lyrics, “Agent Orange just sent the Secret Service/To meet in person to see if I really think of hurtin’ him/Or ask if I’m linked to terrorists/I said, ‘Only when it comes to ink and lyricists.'”

Revealed: Joe Biden twice used his position as Senator to intervene to boost son Hunter's lobbying
Joe Biden privately contacted the Department of Homeland Security and the Department of Justice when he was a senior and influential U.S. Senator to discuss issues that his son Hunter’s firm was being paid to lobby on, according to government records.
On at least two occasions, Biden contacted federal departments to discuss issues related to Hunter’s firm’s lobbying clients, according to records reviewed by the Washington Examiner.
Biden’s behind-the-scenes outreach illustrates how his Senate work overlapped with his son’s business interests. Biden has faced scrutiny for taking actions that were perceived to benefit his son’s work, including calling for the firing of a Ukrainian prosecutor and backing policies that helped the Delaware-based credit card industry while Hunter was working for MBNA, headquartered in the state.

Mexican man previously deported 9 times faces drug charges
CINCINNATI —A Mexican national was charged Oct. 23, in a three-count superseding indictment with intent to distribute cocaine and more than 400 grams of fentanyl, as well as illegally reentering the United States after having been previously deported.
Benjamin C. Glassman, United States Attorney for the Southern District of Ohio, and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) Field Office Director Rebecca Adducci, announced the superseding indictment returned yesterday.
Luis Tapia, 27, was arrested at a Cincinnati residence Sept. 13. At the time of his arrest, Tapia attempted to escape from a second-floor window onto the roof. He eventually retreated into the house and locked himself in a closet. Special Response Team agents then forcibly entered the home and apprehended Tapia. He has remained in custody since.
In August 2019, Tapia fled from law enforcement during a routine traffic stop. Before fleeing the stop, Tapia falsely identified himself as his brother, who is legitimately in the country under the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) policy. Tapia is ineligible to remain in the country under DACA because of his previous felony convictions. Further investigation uncovered a photograph of Tapia illegally reentering the country at a border checkpoint.

'I used it purposefully': CNN commentator maintains GOP sit-in like 'a Klan group'
CNN commentator Keith Boykin compared the GOP lawmakers who disrupted the impeachment proceedings to "a Klan group" and then stood by the claim after facing pushback.
Republican lawmakers not on the committees involved in the testimony of Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense Laura Cooper demanded entry into the hearing but were denied Thursday.
Boykin made the comparison to the Ku Klux Klan during a Thursday afternoon appearance on The Lead with Jake Tapper.
"This is a disgraceful stunt," he said. "This looked like a Klan group assembled outside of a jail trying to get the sheriff to let them in so they could deliver their own justice against somebody who was inside. It’s not a good look for our democracy. It's not a good look for the Republican Party. ... Republicans are already on these committees that are in this impeachment investigation."

Zombie Nation? The Democratic Party Is Dead, And Everyone Knows It But Them
Failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, thought to have finally retired from politics after an embarrassing electoral loss to a politically-inexperienced reality show personality, is threatening to enter the 2020 race, serving up reheated Cold War fearmongering and an ironclad sense of royal privilege to a Trump-weary populace. A morally and fiscally bankrupt Democratic Party is poised to enable this sick drama with the help of a spineless and compliant media.
How could this possibly happen? Surely Democrats learned their lesson after their decision to take Clinton’s money in order to stay financially solvent in 2016 required them to rig the primaries in her favor, a crime that likely tanked her candidacy when it was revealed by WikiLeaks? Surely the mainstream media realizes that, three years on, the preposterous Russiagate conspiracy theory they cooked up to defend her has ripped the last shreds of journalistic integrity out of the mainstream media establishment?
Just kidding — the Democratic Party and its media handmaidens bargained away their morals long ago. They’re aiding and abetting a Clinton comeback, wheeling her out to give her opinion on everything from the latest steps toward peace in Syria (bad, needs more war) to the 2020 candidates. Last week, she took aim at Tulsi Gabbard, the best hope the party has of getting voters excited enough to show up in 2020, claiming (without a shred of evidence) that the National Guard major and former DNC chair is being groomed by Russia to act as a third-party spoiler, handing the election to Trump. Had such a claim come from anyone else, the DNC would have slapped it down. But they know on which side their bread is buttered. They’d rather lose than defy their queen.

John Durham opens criminal inquiry in DOJ’s investigation of the investigators
U.S. Attorney John Durham opened a criminal inquiry in his investigation into the origins of the Trump-Russia investigation and into the conduct of the Justice Department, FBI, and Intelligence Community during their scrutiny of possible connections between the Trump campaign and the Kremlin.
The significant new move in the DOJ’s investigation of the investigators, which would give Durham the power to impanel a grand jury and hand down indictments, according to the New York Times.
The DOJ did not immediately return the Washington Examiner’s request for comment.
Earlier this week, it was revealed that the secretive DOJ inquiry included scrutiny of former CIA Director John Brennan, former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, former FBI special agent Peter Strzok, and British ex-spy Christopher Steele. Durham has also been seeking interviews with members of the CIA and FBI.

Most Americans Do Not Believe That This Chapter Of American History Is Going To End Well
This is a very difficult article for me to write. America is more divided today than it has ever been in my entire lifetime, and the very deep divisions that now exist are getting deeper with each passing day. In particular, the animosity between the political left and the political right has risen to an extremely frightening level.
Instead of learning to love those that we disagree with, we are constantly being trained to absolutely loathe them, and the pot is constantly being stirred by the mainstream media and many of our national leaders. And as both sides go at it like cats and dogs, irreparable damage is being done to our political system. At this point, we are not too far away from a point where this country will not be governable by anyone. Our federal government has degenerated into a bad soap opera featuring an endless parade of insults, threats, petty stunts, scandals and investigations. All of this drama may be entertaining at times, but it is not any way to run a country.
And now all of the political strife and discord in this country has been given a focal point. I have repeatedly warned that Democrats should have never gone down the road of impeachment, because either way this process turns out it is going to be very bad for America.
And even if Trump wasn’t in the White House, the seething hatred between the left and the right would still be there. In fact, things have gotten so bad that a new survey found that 67 percent of all Americans believe that we are “on the edge of civil war”…

And even if Trump wasn’t in the White House, the seething hatred between the left and the right would still be there. In fact, things have gotten so bad that a new survey found that 67 percent of all Americans believe that we are “on the edge of civil war”…

Anita Hill Says She is Ready to ‘Hold Joe Biden Accountable’
Anita Hill has said that she is now ready to “hold Joe Biden accountable” for his treatment of her during Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas’s confirmation hearing.
Hill made the remarks at the Citizen by CNN conference on Thursday.
“Have I forgiven Joe Biden? I’m ready to move on, but I am also ready to hold Joe Biden accountable. Accountability means acknowledging your role in the problem and the harm it’s caused. Acknowledging that you have culpability and are a part of it,” Hill said. “Giving me clear information that you have made a change and that you are going to do something to make us all better off around gender discrimination,” she added.
Biden has long faced backlash from fellow Democrats, particularly in the black community, for his behavior during the hearing which many believe was accusatory and didn’t do enough to protect Hill from very tough questioning from his Republican colleagues.

Shocking photos of Congresswoman Katie Hill are revealed as she's seen NAKED showing off Nazi-era tattoo
Shocking photographs of Democrat Katie Hill posing naked with a tattoo of what appears to be a Nazi-era Iron Cross on her bikini line while smoking a bong and making out with her young female aide have been obtained exclusively by DailyMail.com
The congresswoman, 32, was also pictured naked brushing the young woman's hair, who DailyMail.com can identity as Morgan Desjardins, 24, from Santa Clarita, California.
Desjardins began a relationship with Hill and Heslep shortly after she started working for Hill in 2017, before the three-way affair broke down this summer when Hill told both her husband and her lover that she wanted to focus on her work.
Hill's wild lifestyle has been laid bare in a cache of texts and intimate photographs obtained by DailyMail.com, as sources revealed Hill and Heslep also posted her naked photos online under a thread called 'WouldYouF**kMyWife'.

White House directs government agencies to stop subscribing to New York Times and Washington Post
The White House is directing federal agencies to cancel their subscriptions to The New York Times and The Washington Post, two flagship newspapers that consistently break news about and relevant to the president's administration.
The plan, first reported by The Wall Street Journal on Thursday and confirmed by CBS News, was floated by President Trump earlier this week in an interview with Fox News. The Post and the Times are some of his favorite targets to denigrate as "fake news."
"The media is corrupt. Not all media," Mr. Trump told Fox News' Sean Hannity. "Look, I know some — some great people, including you, but I know some great journalists. ... The New York Times, which is a fake newspaper — we don't even want it in the White House anymore. We're going to probably terminate that and The Washington Post. They're fake."

Reversal of fortune: Senate Democrats demand millionaire tax cut, GOP blocks it
Senate Democrats finally got a chance to put their mark on tax policy in the Trump era and inexplicably voted for a tax cut for millionaires.
Sen. Cory A. Booker of New Jersey backed the millionaire tax cut, which failed on a mostly party-line vote, but several of his rivals for the 2020 Democratic presidential nomination dodged the vote.
Sens. Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts and Bernard Sanders of Vermont, who are running on tax-the-rich platforms, were no-shows. Sen. Kamala D. Harris of California, a Democratic presidential hopeful who vows to repeal President Trump’s tax cuts “Day One” of her presidency, also was absent.
The Democrats used a rare procedural move to force the vote that would have reversed the part of President Trump’s law to put a cap on deductions for state and local taxes.

Ilhan Omar Blamed Trump for the Death of an Infant Who Is Still Alive

In a tweet on Thursday, Omar said his "death" was the "direct result of Trump’s cuts to Medicaid and CHIP. He is one of a million children to lose healthcare. Let that sink in."

Broken health care system is causing rampant burnout among doctors, nurses
Imagine a health-care system in which doctors and nurses are so exhausted and beaten down that many of them work like zombies - error-prone, apathetic toward patients and at times trying to blunt their own pain with alcohol or even suicide attempts.
That is what America's broken health care system is doing to its health workers, according to a 312-page report released Tuesday by the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering and Medicine, one of the country's most prestigious science institutions.
The report found that as many as half of the country's doctors and nurses experience substantial symptoms of burnout, resulting in increased risks to patients, malpractice claims, worker absenteeism and turnover, as well as billions of dollars in losses to the medical industry each year.
Symptoms, they said, include emotional exhaustion, cynicism, loss of enthusiasm and joy in their work and increasing detachment from their patients and the patients' ailments. The problem has been linked to higher rates of depression, substance abuse and suicide. The suicide rate among physicians, for example, is twice that of the general population and one of the highest among all professions.
The problem often starts with a well-intentioned, perfectly reasonable law, explained co-author Vindell Washington, chief medical officer at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana. That is turned into a regulation, which is interpreted and made into a policy, often taking the most conservative path possible for legal protection.
"At every step, the original intent gets a little misinterpreted or picks up an unexpected effect," Washington said.

Fake News Echo Chamber: NYT Prints Lies by Adam Schiff Witness Made in Secret Testimony
The New York Times on Wednesday published what would have been a major story on White House National Security Council (NSC) aide Kash Patel—if only it had been true.
The story, which relies on leaks from Democrats conducting the “impeachment inquiry” into President Donald Trump of testimony by one witness who had no firsthand knowledge of the allegations she was making, claims Patel had provided President Trump with documents on Ukraine and met with the president about them.
Citing as its sources “people briefed on the matter,” the Times’ Julian Barnes, Adam Goldman, and Nicholas Fandos wrote that Patel was referred to by President Trump as “one of his top Ukraine policy specialists” and that President Trump “wanted to discuss related documents with him.” The Times reporters claimed that Patel’s NSC and White House colleagues “grew alarmed” over all this.
Later in the Times piece, it became clear where exactly this allegation came from—Fiona Hill, a former Trump administration Russia hand, whom the Democrats have been relying on for testimony in the impeachment inquiry. Hill testified earlier this month in the secret room in the basement of the Capitol building from which Democrats have been running their private impeachment proceedings.

"We are Socialists, we are enemies of the capitalistic economic system for the exploitation of the economically weak, with its unfair salaries, with its unseemly evaluation of a human being according to wealth and property instead of responsibility and performance and we are all determined to destroy this system under all conditions."

"[Some people] have a depraved taste for equality, which impels the weak to lower the powerful to their own level, and reduces men to prefer equality in slavery to inequality with freedom. I believe that it is easier to establish an absolute and despotic government amongst a people in which the conditions of society are equal, than amongst any other; and I think that, if such a government were once established amongst such a people, it would not only oppress men, but would eventually strip each of them of several of the highest qualities of humanity. Despotism, therefore, appears to me peculiarly to be dreaded in democratic times."
