Friday on MSNBC’s “Deadline,” network host Al Sharpton said President Donald Trump is a racist obsessed with race.
After filmmaker Spike Lee Oscar acceptance speech, Trump tweeted, “Be nice if Spike Lee could read his notes, or better yet not have to use notes at all, when doing his racist hit on your President, who has done more for African Americans (Criminal Justice Reform, Lowest Unemployment numbers in History, Tax Cuts, etc.) than almost any other Pres!”
Sharpton said, “I mean Spike Lee makes an acceptance speech at the Oscars and said do the right thing in 2020, and the president says he is talking race, he is a racist. He didn’t even mention race. But he didn’t even mention race. They are obsessed with race because that is who they are..."

Poll: 3-in-4 Voters Favor ‘America First’ Immigration
About 3-in-4 American voters favor a populist-nationalist “America First” legal immigration, trade, and foreign policy platform from candidates running for office that prioritizes protecting the way of life and economic security of United States citizens above all else.
The latest Harvard/Harris Poll finds near unanimous support for populist-nationalist candidates among Republicans, conservatives, and President Trump supporters, as well as a majority of support from all voters.
The findings are the latest evidence that the open borders, globalization, and endless wars ideology of former administrations — such as President George W. Bush’s — has very little support with the American electorate.

Worcester/Berlin event time change
RE a GMail sent earlier today, PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE HAS BEEN A TIME CHANGE TO THIS EVENT: IT STARTS AT 1 PM, not 3:30 PM.
Also, it has just come to our attention that this democrat hosted event addressing procedures available to take away the votes of Trump supporters is being moderated by Howard Sribnick, THE PRESIDENT of THE WORCESTER COUNTY LIBRARY FOUNDATION (and former member of the democrat central committee)!!! How is this guy permitted to use a taxpayer funded facility as a venue to promote political division and hate?

Maryland House passes hate crime bill, moves to Senate
Maryland House of Delegates overwhelmingly passed legislation Friday barring the placement of items or symbols on property to intimidate specific groups of people.
The House passed House Bill 4 with a 136-2 vote. Del. Mark Chang, D-Glen Burnie, sponsored the bill as an effort to reduce incidents of hate crimes throughout the state. The legislation initially focused on nooses and swastikas but was amended to include any symbol placed without express permission. Nooses and swastikas are still explicitly listed in the bill.
Anyone found in violation could be imprisoned for up to three years and/or fined $5,000.
“The bill really encompasses any symbol of hate,” Chang said.
Chang tried to pass the legislation last year following a noose being placed at Crofton Middle School. That bill failed to pass through the House of Delegates after amendments.
Since the Crofton Middle noose case, there have been other racist incidents at Chesapeake High School. In April, racist messages targeting white and black people were written on classroom mouse pads. A fight with racial overtones also broke out that month.
In October, the phrase “Kill All Blacks” was written on a sign-in sheet. School officials called the incident unacceptable.

FDA Chief Wants to Test if Opioids Actually Work
FDA Commissioner Scott Gottlieb is making plans to compel pharmaceutical firms to test the safety and efficacy of prescription opioids, an area where research is surprisingly lacking.
"We are going to impose a mandate on existing products … to answer the question that people have been posing for years: whether you have declining efficacy, and whether that declining efficacy can lead to addiction," Gottlieb told the Washington Post in a Tuesday interview.
The FDA will require the makers of brand-name pharmaceuticals to fund independent, randomized and controlled research of the effects of long-term opioid use for pain relief, Gottlieb said. Generic opioid makers would be required to adapt their behavior based on the result of said investigations.
Such studies were not previously something the FDA could compel pharmaceutical firms to undertake, Gottlieb told the Post. Previously, the regulatory agency only had the power to order post-market studies of safety, as opposed to efficacy. But, under the SUPPORT Act, passed last October, the FDA now has the ability to require studies of the effectiveness of on-the-market drugs.
The idea that the safety and effectiveness of opioid drugs still needs to be studied may surprise some. After all, humans have used opioids in their organic form for millennia, and their narcotic and analgesic effects have long been well-known.

How Osama bin Laden’s son, Hamza, was groomed for terror
He’s Osama bin Laden’s son, the husband of 9/11 hijacker Mohamed Atta’s daughter — and now Public Enemy No. 1 to the State Department, which just put a $1 million bounty on him.
Hamza bin Laden is emerging as a powerful key leader of al Qaeda, bringing his father’s cutthroat cachet and a youthful energy to the terror network his dad once led — and prompting US authorities to try to cut him off at the pass.
The State Department this week announced the reward for help in hunting Hamza down, calling him “a specially designated global terrorist” and dangling the cash under its Rewards for Justice program.
Experts say the 30-something militant, once dubbed the “Crown Prince of Terror,” has been groomed for the deadly role his whole life.
“He’s basically born right after al Qaeda is founded, so his life is totally consumed in the establishment, the formation of al Qaeda and the launching of its war against the West and America,” Thomas Joscelyn, of the Washington, DC-based Foundation for Defense of Democracies, told The Associated Press.
Hamza, one of his father’s estimated 26 children, sought Dad’s approval from a young age and wanted bin Laden to make him the network’s heir apparent.

Mike Braun, Rick Scott Propose Permanent Lobbying Ban for Former Lawmakers
Sens. Mike Braun (R-IN) and Rick Scott (R-FL) introduced a bill on Friday that would prevent former lawmakers from using their influence on Capitol Hill from lobbying.
Braun and Scott introduced the Banning Lobbying and Safeguarding Trust (BLAST) Act, that would block former lawmakers from lobbying their friends on Capitol Hill. Rep. Trey Hollingsworth (R-IN) introduced the companion legislation in the House.
“One of the reasons I left the private sector for Washington was to help President Trump drain the swamp, and we can accomplish this by permanently banning Congressmen and Senators from lobbying Capitol Hill,” said Braun in a statement on Friday. “Together we can end the revolving door of career politicians coming to Washington, spending time in Congress, then enriching themselves from their service to the American people.”

The Debt Ceiling is Back and Congress Faces Fall Deadline to Lift It
Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and the House Democrats will face a critical test later this year when they are confronted with the need to raise the debt ceiling.
Will the House leader urge her members to pass a clean raise of the debt ceiling? Or will the Democrats attempt to tie it to other issues important to Democrat voters?
The Treasury Department is taking the first steps to keep the government from exceeding the $22 trillion debt limit, which goes back into effect on Saturday, setting off what will likely be months of battle in Congress on finding ways to avoid an unprecedented default on the national debt.
Treasury said that it began on Friday suspending sales of a special type of Treasury security that is used by state and local governments to help manage their bond holdings.
In a letter to congressional leaders, Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin said last week that the government would start with this sales suspension as a way to clear space to keep the government from exceeding the limit while Congress debates raising the limit.
The debt limit has been suspended for the past year under an agreement approved by Congress as part of a February 2018 budget deal. However, that legislation had the limit ceiling going back into effect on Saturday at whatever level the debt stood at on Friday.

State Department issues travel warning for Bahamas, urges ‘increased caution’
Officials for the U.S. State Department have issued a level 2 travel advisory warning for the Bahamas due to crime, including burglaries, robberies, sexual assault and risks associated with using unregulated recreational watercraft.
The warning, released Feb. 25, urges American tourists to “exercise increased caution” when traveling to, and staying in, the popular tropical islands.
“Violent crime, such as burglaries, armed robberies, and sexual assault, is common, even during the day and in tourist areas,” the notice states. “Although the family islands are not crime-free, the vast majority of crime occurs on New Providence and Grand Bahama islands.”

Former Planned Parenthood Employee Describes ‘Dark’ Culture And Personality ‘Demise’
Planned Parenthood’s culture is “very dark” and pervades the abortion organization’s many clinics, a former Planned Parenthood employee told The Daily Caller News Foundation in a February interview.
Former employee Annette Lancaster described Planned Parenthood‘s culture as “very dark” and marked by “a lot of dark humor, a lot of dark jokes.” Lancaster started working as a health center manager for a Planned Parenthood clinic in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, in 2015 and left after nine months. She was hired to do the clinic’s administrative work but landed in the procedure room shortly after beginning employment, Lancaster told TheDCNF.
“To the person who is thinking about going to Planned Parenthood to work, I would definitely advise them against it,” Lancaster said. “I would let them know that it would change them internally.”
“They would definitely, if they don’t see it, their friends and family would start to see a decline in and a demise in their personality,” she said. “It’s just not worth it,” Lancaster added.

Wednesday In Berlin/Worcester
How badly do the America-haters want to take our vote away? Bad enough to be presenting an anti-Trump 'lecture' on impeachment and the 25th amendment right here in Worcester County, a blatant insult to the majority of the residents of the county (Trump won by almost 2 to 1). Berlin Public library, this Wednesday March 6th, 3pm. YOU need to be there, it is not up to 'the other guy' to defend what you believe in. Either politely correct the lies by providing the facts, and/or if you choose not to speak lend moral support to your fellow patriots.
Michelle Malkin Delivers Scorching Immigration Speech at CPAC
NATIONAL HARBOR, Maryland — Conservative powerhouse Michelle Malkin took aim directly from the CPAC main stage Friday, at the lack of immigration focus while delivering fuel for the fight against longstanding abuses of the American immigration system.
“The most important issue we face is immigration and we need to be talking about it for more than one panel for 20 minutes,” Malkin charged from the CPAC (Conservative Political Action Conference) stage. “My first CPAC in 2002 was to talk about my very first book Invasion which exposed how border failures and systemic non-enforcement of our visa program rules created the national security crisis that led to 9/11.”
Immigration was a defining issue in the 2016 election that saw the American people make Donald Trump President of the United States. Malkin hailed President Donald Trump “as he battles the Beltway swamp, the deep state, the administrative state, and the fake news fourth estate. But there is no sugarcoating America’s long-term forecast.”
Malkin’s Friday address went after members of both political parties and those who seek to “marginalize and criminalize mainstream conservatives, anti-jihad groups, and immigration hawks as “hate groups” and push us out of the public square” like Color of Change and the Southern Poverty Law Center. She also named, “Paul Ryan, Mitch McConnell, the Bush family, Mitt Romney and the ghost of John McCain.”
“Our shining city on a hill has become a much-abused doormat to the world. Building the border wall is just half the battle. The numbers tell all. Our future is dimmed. The odds are fearful,” Malkin charged.

Candace Owens at CPAC: The Democrats Are the ‘Party of Slavery, Jim Crow, KKK’
Turning Point USA communications director Candace Owens told an audience at CPAC on Friday that “the truth is on our side as conservatives,” and that truth is all conservatives actually need in order to wake up minority communities to understanding that the Democrat Party is the Party of “slavery, Jim Crow laws, racial terrorism, and the KKK.”
“The truth is that the Left and the Democrats never, ever, ever, ever, want to fix black America, because they stump on our issues year after year,” said Owens to an audience at CPAC on Friday, “If they fix our issues, they would have nothing to stump on or to talk about.”
“Never in a million years did the Left predict Donald J. Trump,” continued Owens, “and I’ll tell you what they also are not predicting. They never predicted a minority awakening. They never thought that they could ever lose the black vote — they’ve taken our vote for granted for so long, but things are starting to change.”
Owens added that the secret to awakening minority communities to conservativism is to “simply tell them the truth.”
“The truth is on our side as conservatives,” affirmed Owens.
“Truth number one: America is not a racist country. The people that continue to tell us that have a vested interest in racism.”

Giuliani: Cohen Committed ‘As Provable Perjury’ as I’ve Ever Seen
On Friday’s broadcast of Fox News Radio’s “Brian Kilmeade Show,” Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani stated that during his testimony before Congress, former Trump attorney Michael Cohen committed “as provable perjury” as he has ever seen. Giuliani also stated that Trump didn’t know about the payments made to Stormy Daniels at the time, and the reimbursements he paid to Cohen aren’t a campaign contribution.
Giuliani said that Cohen’s statement that he didn’t want a White House job is “about as provable perjury [as] I’ve ever seen. So far, if you just look online, there are about eight — no five witnesses and then, of course, the tape with Cuomo. And I have to tell you, I don’t want to be a witness, but he told me the same thing, and he even complained to me that he didn’t get a job.”

'The Send' marks start of 'greatest Jesus movement'
Thousands of Christians packed the Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida and live-streamed the event in thousands of churches across the United States all part of a "new Jesus movement."
"The Send," a 12-hour event Saturday that was a collaboration of national ministries aimed at activating Christians to fulfill their God-given call, was launched by evangelist Lou Engle, Youth With A Mission (YWAM), and other ministries. Engle, the founder of "The Call," said "The Send" was launched after a conversation in 2011 with YWAM members who spoke about a new generation of Christian missionaries rising up following Rev. Billy Graham's passing.
"We believe this day, something will transfer and bring us into, I believe, worldwide transition into the greatest Jesus movement we have ever seen," Engle said.
Lindy Conant-Cofer, who was recently inspired to start fostering a baby boy with her husband after she heard from God, led worship during the day with her band, "Lindy and the Circuit Riders." She recently told Fox News she believes the time is ripe for a "Third Great Awakening," a theme that was present all throughout the event.
"Now is the time for spiritual awakening and now is the time for a massive missions wave to the nations of the earth," Andy Byrd, Youth With A Mission leader, said. "This is about winning a generation for Jesus and this is about sending a generation to places that are still longing for the revelation of the gospel."

Virginia Democrats Elect Their First Islamist Anti-Semite
While Virginia Democrats were debating whether to oust Governor Northam for wearing blackface, Lt. Governor Justin Fairfax over alleged rape and Attorney General Mark Herring for also wearing blackface, a much more blatant example of contemporary bigotry by a Virginia Democrat had come to light.
It received virtually no coverage by the media.
Ibraheem Samirah, running in a special election for a seat in the Virginia House of Delegates, had his social media history exposed. Aside from the usual rants about Israel, Samirah had posted that the Jews had stolen his grandfather’s land and “washed off as the Promised Land for Jews only (using the Torah and Zionist ideology, a 3000 yo religious book and a 100 yo Jew-only philosophy.)”
Samirah’s hatred for Israel wasn’t news. The Jordanian Muslim BDS activist had co-founded a chapter of Jewish Voice for Peace (a misnamed pro-terrorist hate group that is neither peaceful nor Jewish), had served as a spokesman for Students for Justice in Palestine, a hate group whose chapters had been involved in numerous anti-Semitic incidents ranging from hate speech to acts of violence, and had spoken at an American Muslims for Palestine conference: an organization accused of supporting Hamas.
But in his 2014 Facebook post, Ibraheem Samirah had trafficked in blatant anti-Semitism, attacking not only Israel, but Judaism and Jews. And had received a pass for his anti-Semitism from Virginia Dems.
Democrats stuck by Samirah and he won with 59% of the vote making him the second Muslim in the Virginia House of Delegates, beating out Gregg Nelson, an Air Force vet who had condemned Samirah’s anti-Semitism. “Racism has no place in our Commonwealth,” Nelson said.

Too little, too late: Washington Post admits it screwed up big in the Covington Catholic story
It's amazing, the difference a $250 million defamation lawsuit can make.
The Washington Post published an editor’s note Friday evening admitting, way too late, that it badly bungled its coverage of the Covington Catholic High School story.
Major newsrooms, including the Post, falsely reported in January that a group of Covington Catholic High School students had abused and taunted an elderly Native American protester, Nathan Phillips, after the March for Life in Washington, D.C. The students did no such thing, as publicly available video showed. Sadly, the truth of the matter came out only after the press, most especially the Post, had already spread a narrative based entirely on vicious falsehoods.

Maryland could allow use of food stamp cards at restaurants
ANNAPOLIS, MD. Maryland state legislation could allow people to use their Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program benefits — known as the Food Supplement Program in Maryland — to purchase meals at restaurants.
Sponsored by Sen. Clarence Lam, D-Howard and Baltimore counties, Senate bill 752 would allow elderly, disabled and homeless people to use their Electronic Benefits Transfer cards to purchase food at participating restaurants, Lam said.
Arizona and some counties in California have restaurant meals programs and there are pilot programs in Rhode Island and Florida, according to the United States Department of Agriculture Food and Nutrition Service.

Troopers Attempting to Locate Wanted Suspect Steven L. McCormick Jr.
The Delaware State Police are attempting to locate Steven L. McCormick Jr., 22 of Salisbury, Maryland who is wanted on domestic related assault charges and reckless endangering of responding troopers.
On Thursday, February 28, 2019, a physical domestic incident occurred on Boyd Drive, Magnolia between Steven L. McCormick Jr. and his girlfriend. During the incident the suspect punched her multiple times and prevented her from contacting 9-1-1 by damaging her phone. McCormick then fled the scene in a stolen vehicle; a 2010 gray Ford Fusion.
On the same date the stolen vehicle was seen at Walgreens located at 9202 Commercial Drive, Bridgeville, Delaware. As the first trooper arrived on scene and attempted to exit the patrol vehicle, the suspect drove at the trooper and slammed into the passenger side compartment of the patrol vehicle. The trooper exited the patrol vehicle and began giving commands and the driver continued to ram the rear of the stolen vehicle into the side of the patrol vehicle in an attempt to prevent capture. The trooper sustained minor injuries.
Another trooper arrived on scene and exited his patrol vehicle to assist when the suspect then recklessly drove the stolen vehicle in the direction of the trooper causing him to jump out of the way to avoid being struck. McCormick fled the scene and was observed traveling on Sussex Highway in the area of Bridgeville Road. A computer check revealed his Maryland driver’s license was suspended.
Warrants are on file charging Steven L. McCormick Jr. with the following:
- Theft of Motor Vehicle
- Malicious Interference with Emergency Communication
- Offensive Touching
- Two counts of Criminal Mischief
- Two counts of Reckless Endangering
- Resisting Arrest

Boeing Secures $15.7 Billion Vietnam Orders During Trump's Hanoi Visit
Vietnam’s Bamboo Airways and VietJet Aviation JSC signed deals to buy 110 aircraft from Boeing Co. during President Donald Trump’s visit to Hanoi for a summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un.
Bamboo agreed to purchase 10 787-9 Dreamliners worth about $3 billion, while VietJet’s order is for 100 737 Max planes valued at $12.7 billion, Boeing said Wednesday. VietJet’s 100-plane commitment was unveiled at the Farnborough air show last year. The accords were signed in the presence of Trump and Vietnam’s President Nguyen Phu Trong.
Vietnam’s airlines are expanding their fleets as rising incomes and the region’s growing economies are spurring many to fly for the first time, boosting demand in the Asia Pacific, whose air-travel market is projected to surpass that of North America and Europe combined. Demand in Vietnam is also expected to climb after U.S. regulators last month gave their approval to the nation’s air-safety system, making its airlines eligible to begin direct flights to the U.S. and codeshare with American carriers.

EXECUTIVE BOB CULVER ANNOUNCES THE SUCCESS OF WARMING UP WICOMICO
I am pleased to announce the success of a new program Warming up Wicomico. During the months of January and February, drop boxes were made available to have outerwear, socks, blankets and other warming items dropped off.
There were over 1,323 items donated and because of the generosity of so many citizens; several shelters, homeless camps and other citizens in need benefited.
I would like to thank Johnson Seed and Feed for their support by setting up a collection area. Their customers were extremely generous as were they, even providing dog food. Also a big thanks to The Insurance Market who delivered many items from their employees within the last couple days.
This was a huge responsibility accepted by our Wicomico Partnership for Families and Children. This initiative was the idea of Director Michelle Bradley and she and her staff sorted and distributed all 1,323 pieces. My sincere thanks to Michelle and her staff for a job well done.
Thank you to all who donated and helped to make this project so successful. Because of you many people were warmed by your kindness.

On the Cusp of Catastrophe, California Has No Margin for Error
Californians brag that their state is the world’s fifth-largest economy. They talk as reverentially of Silicon Valley companies Apple, Facebook, and Google as the ancient Greeks did of their Olympian gods.
Hollywood and universities such as Caltech, Stanford, and Berkeley are cited as permanent proof of the intellectual, aesthetic, and technological dominance of West Coast culture.
Californians also see their progressive, one-party state as a neo-socialist model for a nation moving hard to the left.
But how long will they retain such confidence?
