Acting State Prosecutor Kelly B. Madigan announced that the Wicomico County Grand Jury has returned an indictment charging Michael McComas, a sergeant with the Maryland State Police, with misconduct in office for notifying a civilian employee of the Maryland State Police of a pending search and seizure warrant being executed by the Maryland State Police on the employee’s residence.
The charges allege that McComas notified a subordinate employee that they were the target of a search and seizure warrant, which allowed the subordinate employee the opportunity to remove items from their personal residence prior to the execution of the lawful search and seizure warrant.
“It is imperative that law enforcement officers, who take an oath to uphold the law, are held accountable when they violate the law, especially when it relates to disclosing confidential information to the target of an investigation,” said Kelly B. Madigan, Acting State Prosecutor.
This matter was investigated by the Office of the State Prosecutor and the Maryland State Police Criminal Enforcement Division.
Although charged, the Defendant is presumed innocent unless and until there is a conviction.

I typically support police officers, esp. MSP Troopers, but this clown F'd UP! Not only did he break the law, but he F'd up his damn career! I hope he doesn't get his retirement either and he should be placed in jail.
ReplyDeleteI am also curious about the relationship with the civilian employee? What is going on there. How did he know about the search warrant? How did this tip get discovered?
Shouldn’t he be found guilty first ? Your a supporter of LE but not the constitution? I’m confused.
DeleteUs regular people have to be proven innocent why shouldn't he?
DeleteWhat was the warrant for is what I want to know.
ReplyDeleteWas watching Netflix at work
DeleteMsp, from the top down, has serious issues!
ReplyDeleteIf the public only knew of the illegal conduct of SPD and MSP and WCSO in the disposition of the duties of office or under the auspices of the same
ReplyDeleteWow, you are very on target with WCSO
Deleteif they did a search on Mike Lewis,
they be surprised a number of guns he confiscated with Civilian restraining orders
are in his gun collection
Yep, I wonder if md’s “finest” top cop likes to tip people off also.
ReplyDeleteIT TAKES A CROOK TO CATCH A CROOK.
ReplyDeleteProbably - tampering with evidence.
ReplyDeletehe's a kop what else would you expect? msp spd are all one big joke perpetuated on the populace by the politicians! shut up get in line or else!
ReplyDeleteMisconduct in office???
ReplyDeleteWhaaat??
That's obstruction of justice, interfering, and conspiracy.
"We, the people" would already be posting a ludicrous bond and hoping for leniency.
Two Sets of Laws. Right in your face and they don't care what you think about it.
The stuff of revolutions throughout history. Including the American Revolution. The FIRST one.
Keep cheering.

*You're
No need to be confused. Facts are facts!
The DOJ said Lynch claimed on an affidavit that the victim had committed strangulation and two counts offensive touching of a law enforcement officer--claims contradicted by witness statements who told authorities the victim had attempted to protect his face but had not put his hands around Lynch's throat, as Lynch had claimed.

Witnesses = read EMT's snitched
emt's and foundation savers think they are part of law enforcement
DeleteYes, I've noticed that too. It's all about the flashing lights, badges, parade uniforms, and "fire police" tags on their personal vehicles.
Delete7:25 I think there is way more to that story. Who knows what they would find. Mike has never been one to obey the law just enforce it. He used to shoot cats along the bypass I never really understood it I guess he was bored. His buddy Krah did the same thing. I think it was animal cruelty takes a special kind of A-hole to shoot cats and dogs. This falls right in line with his shooting of an unarmed man. He is a real piece of work.
ReplyDeleteIf you recall, that unarmed animal was trying to run over him

Yeah and most of them farmin are dumb as a clam, especially in Salisbury. They are barely smart enough to pass the basic EMT class and too dumb to pass the Paramedic class but they want to control the EMT's and Paramedics.
Firemen can't do a Paramedics job but a Paramedic can do a firemen's job. Isn't that funny!
