This Weekend Is Corvette Weekend In Ocean City

We've got Corvette's this coming weekend and Classic Cars the following weekend. It's the best time of year to visit Ocean City. Stay tuned for our Caribbean Joe's specials.

  2. You allow everything under the sun in town for the money, get ready for next years rice burner invasion. You don't get to pick and choose.

  3. 9:18. Corvette owners are not the millennial punks that stand in the road and run people over after doing burnouts.

  4. 2 much noise, drunks and crime will not attend as a senior citizen. OC Council has ruined all the good events

  5. All commenters above, compare and contrast the behaviors of this event with last week.

  6. Hey, Bob, I guarantee there will be more than one Vette burning rubber in OC this weekend. Perhaps the OCPD will be puling them over and pointing their automatic weapons at the drivers. But somehow I think the OCPD will treat Vette owners better that they treat the millennials with their version of hot rods. What do you think, Bob? Is OC discriminating against the lower income visitors now? Is that what OC has become? Do they only want high income visitors? It sure looks like it. Their greed for money has no bounds.

The reason OCPD had weapons pointed

because these punks and punkettes had a handgun waiving it out the window.

please do your own review before spouting off your progressive chit.

It has little to do with behaviors, and a lot to do with money. Grow up and smell the coffee.

  8. Northwest Woodsman: I doubt if Corvette owners will be a problem other than increased traffic on the streets. As the owner of an 89 C4 convertible, I’d love to be there.

First of all, step away from the crack pipe. The unsanctioned H20I fiasco is
watermelons vs. apples to an event with mostly mature, responsible attendees. It has been proven time & time again that the people registered with the shows (Cruisin', anyway) aren't the troublemakers. They take their registration w/the show (gets pulled, cannot register again), & their cars very seriously. The H20I people planned, on social media, etc. to come to O.C. & wreak havoc. Those are not automatic weapons, they're just big, black & scary. You'd be screaming like a banshee if the police weren't there when you needed them. You sound like a liberal Democrat: say whatever you feel like (usually not true) & hope people believe you. You should go apply at Washington Post or CNN!

Your assumptions about me couldn't be more wrong, and just proves your ignorance to me. I'm not a liberal, by any means, and have never voted as a democrat. Yes, they ARE automatic, the same rifles that the public is banned from owning. And I've never had a reason to call the police, but I'm sure they would eventually show up, if I did. Don't tell me where to go, unless you would like for me to tell YOU where to go. Hint, hint, it's not WaPo or CNN! And I don't even know what a crack pipe looks like. Where in the hell did you come up with that stuff? Is that how you disagree with someones opinion, snowflake?

Yeah, like you and every other Vette owner has never burnt a little rubber. The funny part is all you guys expect people to believe the lie, like you are better just because you have a more expensive tire squealer than the other guys. I actually get it. You aren't any better just because your cars cost more. If someone GAVE me a Vette, the first thing I would do is sell it. Most impractical sports car (two-seater) ever. My 1972 MGB ran circles around my cousin's Vette. He couldn't keep up with me through the forest. And my brother's 911 Porshe couldn't pass me on a straight stretch. All with a stock MGB. And you Vette guys think you're special. Sheesh!

Sounds like jealousy to me. You have no idea what that 1972 MGB is worth today. More than most vettes from that era. See, that's what's wrong with Vette owners. They just buy them for a status symbol, and not for any practical use. They think they turns heads with them. A vette doesn't turn my head. They're all driven by old gray & white-haired men with an ego problem. Now THAT piece of truth has got to hurt.

My, what a mature and well thought out rebuttal...NOT! But not everyone can address anybody else with any maturity. Can't you read? I don't even know what a crack pipe looks like. Maybe you do. I can't even imagine what makes someone who thinks they are an adult, to say something like that. I feel a little (just a little) pity for people like you that have so much trouble expressing yourself.

  15. "Ocean City is dead. The city let the young people run wild, and because of this no one will ever want to come to this once beautiful resort for any kind of vacation.
"If the town and police would've taken the right steps, this would not have happened. The lack of respect for the law is outrageous.
"People will now go to the safer, cheaper, and more family oriented resorts, like those on the Jersey coast."
(A quote from my father in 1968, referring to the Hippies.)
    Nothing changes.

You should check your facts. They were released a short time later and even posted on facebook. They did NOT have nor do they own a weapon. This was a false flag. Since they posted pictures of the 4 of them so soon after it happened should prove they were let go. I even checked case search for their names. Nothing came up.
