Speaker Nancy Pelosi said Monday that the House and Senate would craft a resolution to “overturn” President Trump’s decision to pull U.S. troops away from the Syrian border.
The California Democrat said she discussed the plan Monday morning with Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Lindsey Graham, a South Carolina Republican who is generally an ally of Trump’s but is staunchly opposed to the president’s move in Syria.
“Our first order of business was to agree that we must have a bipartisan, bicameral joint resolution to overturn the President’s dangerous decision in Syria immediately,” Pelosi tweeted Monday.

Lindsey is entitled to his opinion and shows a genuine concern for the Americans who he represents. However,Trumps recent moves regarding Syria are much more complex than our governing body can comprehend.Brilliant moves are not always concurred with by those who are directly or indirectly involved.Lindsey need to shut up and sit this one out.
ReplyDeletePelosi needs to be investigated, let’s see her taxes
ReplyDeleteNice spin 10:47. No matter how you spin it , tweeting out a break up of a long standing alliance with out telling anyone , including the Pentagon. is not good foreign policy
ReplyDeleteThat’s how it happened yup your right. President didn’t ask anyone or anything just a simple tweet. Lol. Not like he has been saying it for 10 years, campaigned on it and had live stream advisory board agree with him that included generals, Vice President, state department, pentagon. You liberals are funny
DeleteAhhhh, selling out and abandoning an ally leaving them to be slaughtered in battle is not "brilliant". The credibility of the US has been shattered by this idiot.
ReplyDeleteAhhh an ally you say? Really? What have they done for the US? They’ve been fighting for hundreds of years. Why would you want our troops to stay? Here’s a guess. I bet you said nothing when Assad gassed his own people and Obammy did nothing about it. Your outrage is fake just like the news you watch.
DeleteAsk yourself, why are Pelosi and her shills so angry about Trumps decision, what is so very IMPORTANT to them when it comes to the Middle East? You won't like the answer.
ReplyDeleteAhhhh, 3:38 PM, perhaps you think it better that more U.S. troops be slaughtered. For what? These wars in the Middle East never end. They will continue to make war until the final war of all wars (Armageddon). This is a whole new war, not what we sent our troops to Syria for. It's time to protect our own. Democrats love war. Pelosi needs to retire to her rocking chair, she's a demented lunatic!
ReplyDeleteThey’ve been fighting for two hundred years why are we there ???? If our Troops are going to be put in harms way defending a border it should be our own
ReplyDeletePelosi can't even clean up the streets in California. Ding bat nit wit loooooooney tunes.
ReplyDeletefirst off the kurds are not our allies, we helped them secure the area they live in. Actually turkey is a nato ally and we have commitments to them. Obummer and clinton started this mess in syria, and I for one do not for one second believe any of our american boys or girls need to shed their blood over these tribal animosities! Trump is right on this one! we are not the worlds policeman! and if congress wants it so bad then they can vote to go to war! and for all you naysayers out there, you can always jump on a plane and head over there to help them if you can get outta momma's basement and away from your computer!
ReplyDeleteSemper Fi!
Love how Trump continues to get Democrats to rally behind unpopular issues. Pelosi is on record about her disdain for the US being in Syria. Now, Trump has her reversing her previous beliefs and chants. He’s making them hypocrites because they’re so insanely crazy with hatred for him. Hatred only destroys the hater; not the hates.
ReplyDeleteI love seeing out troops having potatoes thrown at them as the run from their allies who have given their lives for out troops. Makes me proud
