Mayor Jake Day Brings Out The Young Cadets For A Neighborhood Walk

As you saw in an earlier video, Jake Day walked the Johnson Lake neighborhood while using city resources like police officers, firefighters and all the equipment that comes with each department. Of course you won't see the seasoned veterans from these departments walking the streets because they're not stupid.

So let's get real here Jake, just what did these neighbors say about all the crime like RAPES, MURDERS, THEFT and so on in this neighborhood? You can smile and record all you want but truth be told, people are pissed at you because of the crime. Yeah, we know you won't record or publish what people really think, because your a Liberal and part of the "fake news" agenda.

Let's see what people really think in anonymous comments.

  1. Sadly that POS has to use city employees to do his campaigning for him.

  2. What an insult. What we need is real police officers, code compliance, and other city departments developing and IMPLEMENTING a strategy based on the principles of “Fixing Broken Windows.” Not impressed by this empty show of nothingness as our neighborhoods suffer.

  3. No one is impressed by all this fakeness. Results count, not this BS. Salisbury, years ago, was a good place to live, but now....not so much. I even hate telling anyone that I live here, what an embarrassment!

  4. lets see...1, 2, 3, 4....that's four people he'll count as Folk Festival goers.

  5. Are those cadets being paid? If so they are being paid to help the Mayor campaign. It blows my mind how tax dollars are spent around here. I'm surprised he hasn't taken the cadets for a bike ride on all the new bike lanes.....

  6. Another election year coming and constant broken promises from his last campaign. He said he would fix ALL the issues at Salisbury Police Department and he knows what they are and what he said. Let’s wait and see if it’s the same song and dance this time as he campaigns for support from various organizations. Wake up salisbury. Do something about this. We need changes and we don’t need another Jake Day term. He will never make changes to make this city safer and

  12. Jake Day has been in violation of every ethics code possible since taking office. The child has NO character or integrity and has no business as a mayor of Salisbury

  13. All I know is I moved to Salisbury 20 years ago and everyone was always talking about downtown revitalization but NOTHING ever happened.... that is, until about 5 years ago when Jake and his "buddies" you so revile started pumping fresh ideas and monies into the struggling city center. Like it or not things have gotten better during his tenure. But you wouldn't know that --- YOU DON'T LIVE HERE.

    1. @3:55 I've lived here for the majority of my life and Jake day has destroyed Salisbury with all his progressive garbage. His buddies love the fact that he's stealing millions in city taxes to refurbish downtown. Day or any of his buddies are kicking in one red cent. Salisbury is unsafe and of you get away from day's little downtown wonderland Salisbury looks like shit!! It's nothing but drunks and addicts and prostitutes everywhere

  16. 3:55——— who cares about the downtown revitalization project. Most people care about crime and being able to enjoy the new downtown without being robbed. One of his biggest issues is SPD and not fixing the internal issues which if corrected would help with the crime. Morale Is so low there that officers do there shift, handle calls and go home. Never being “proactive “ bc of the morale. He knows he needs to fix this issue but he refuses to get rid of the “puppet on a string” and put someone in there that will take the bull by the horns and fix. Instead he wants someone he can control and manipulate rather then a strong chief who will get things corrected. Jakes got to go folks.

  17. I'd like to see some resources devoted to solving the cold case murders in town. Girl at the old mall, girl found in the vacant lot off Camden Ave by SU,lady at the old shore stop on 13,man shot at the Shell station on 13 north by Lowe's,etc.,etc.

All in the County not the City Limits! So you need to ask Mike Lewis what's up?

  19. Sorry but hollow mist is considered city limits, Denny street is also considered Salisbury city limits. You really should try to put a little thought and facts into your post

  20. Pocohontas Ave and east road are all within salisbury's city limits.

  22. I saw a picture on Jake Day's FB page where Bryan Records was there, but he was lurking in the back so no one would see him. He knows it's embarrassing to do this bullshit for Jake Day.
