Campaign yard signs at Glen Gardens Apartments on both road sides near WiHi and the Civic Center. These apartments are ran by County Council President John Cannon and this is where his office is located. Looks like he is endorsing 3 Liberals instead of the Republican candidate for Mayor.

ReplyDeleteSomeone needs to contact the State Republican Central Committee and find out why the Wicomico County Central Committee Vice Chairman Muir Boda ran a Liberals campaign against the incumbent Republican County Executive and now he is openly supporting and admitted voting for the Liberal Democrat Jake Day for Mayor at their Central Committee meeting. It's my understanding this admission was done while he started an argument with the Republican Candidate for Mayor. What the H*ll is going on with our Republican Central Committee?? The voters expect better from the Central Committee.

It is a total conflict of interest for him to be sitting on the Council not to mention President when he sees all the surplus property that County wants to sell first. Dictates how the property is appraised and sold. Then gets his wife's realty firm on it so she gets a commission. He buys them and either rents them out as an absentee landlord or boards them up and continues to get checks from HUD for vacant properties.
